Atlanta at Green Bay (1 Viewer)

HEAVY ACTION

That music you hearing playing in the background during Monday Night Football telecasts? It's a fanfare originally written for the UK show "Superstars".

One of the greatest instrumental themes ever written for television was laid down by a British composer by the name of Johnny Pearson in 1970. It debuted on MNF the next season, year two of the ABC invention.

Most people who heard it in the background of MNF throughout the 70s in America probably had no clue that it was lifted from the U.K. let alone know the title. Nevertheless, the sound of American football had been found.

Man, the ATL run D is bad. Maybe L. Bell is in store for another 200 yards from scrimmage next week.

Imagine how awesome the NFL and fantasy football would be if the average QB had Rodgers skills.

So does anyone expect Atlanta to give them a game?

Because I don't, and for the first time all year I don't have a single fantasy game still in the balance going into Monday night.

That's the difference between a back with vision ... and not.

T-Rich would have gone down for a 1-yard loss right there.

That's a BS call. If a RB fumbles they let a dozen guys pile on even if those guys have no chance to recover.

To clarify- it isn't the call itself, but the fact that they would NOT call that if it was a RB. I actually think they should every time, but consistency matters

It was well late and he went right into his back. Every qb would get that call.
See my added clarification. Guys pile on RB's like that all the time, especially after a fumble.

It should get a flag, but a running QB who fumbles at the end of a rush should have no extra protection a RB doesn't get.
