Austin Collie in Week 14? (1 Viewer)

Tough call this week and hoping that either Collie or Nicks can go. Any word on Collie, and if he does go, would you risk playing him in light of his injury and Manning's recent play?

Austin Collie-WR- Colts Dec. 7 - 7:29 pm et

Colts owner Jim Irsay indicated via Twitter that WR Austin Collie (concussion), RB Joseph Addai (neck), RB Mike Hart (ankle), and LB Clint Session (forearm) will miss Thursday's game at Tennessee.

We wonder how notoriously furtive team president Bill Polian and head coach Jim Caldwell feel about Irsay leaking injury news, but we're not complaining. The Colts continue to proceed cautiously with Collie, so Blair White will again be worthy of WR3 consideration in Week 14. Collie will have 10 days to get ready for the Week 15 matchup against the Jags with the AFC South title hanging in the balance.

With getting two concussions in two weeks, they are not going to rush him.

As a Collie owner, I'm taking him behind the woodshed and putting him down. Based on what I am seeing, he is out this week. Even if he is cleared for next week, I'm not sure if I feel comfortable rolling the dice in the playoffs without having seen him play in a few weeks, especially with the way Indy is cracking right now. So I would give him a week to show me how he's recovered. In my league that leaves me one week for the championship (if I am lucky), for other leagues two weeks.

That's all based on IF he is ready next week. If he was any where near game shape, they would have held him to a game time decision this week. I think he'll be questionable next week.
