I don't listen to a lot of AC/DC in general, but this album is still killer from start to finish.  40 years old today...damn, I am getting old.

Honestly one of the best youtube rabbit holes I've ever been down (about 5-6 hours) was searching "black people react to AC/DC"

That is in no way meant to be racist but the appreciation for the tunes was awesome.

Happy birthday to all songs not named “You Shook Me All Night Long”.

Great album, but that song has reached “Don’t Stop Believing” territory in terms of massive overplay.

There's a reason it's overplayed - it's a damned fine song. I stopped listening to Classic Rock radio years ago so, when it pops up out of the blue a few times a year for me, I don't mind hearing it again.

It's hard to overstate how huge this album was when it came out. Black dude who lived down the road from me had a zillion 8-tracks in his car. They were all P Funk, Ohio Players, Blowfly, Cameo......and Back In Black.

That's how I feel about the first Areosmith album. Awesome if I can skip Dream On.

It's a great song, but I agree it is overplayed.  It got played at every wedding dance around here for a long time, but you can't really dance to it.  :lmao:

True, but I'm old enough to remember people dancing to "Stairway To Heaven" and weddings and proms :loco:

Most people dancing at weddings are, at the very least, buzzed, and you can pretty much dance to anything at that point.
