Ballers- a new HBO original series starring Dwayne Johnson (1 Viewer)

Fun, neat finale. Tied things up nicely (and in a positive way for just about everyone) while still leaving a lot of meat on the bone for season 2.
my theory is that they weren't sure they were gonna get a season 2, so they wrapped up season 1 in a nice little self-contained bow.

I'm glad there will be another season, though. Rashard Mendenhall needs work.

Entertaining show with tons of fine babes. I think Charles's wife is smoking hot.

And how could The Rock and his agent buddy drive $100k+ cars, come up with $150k hush money, but not have enough money to buy office computers and furniture?

The player arrivals at camp was pretty cool.
I thought that was all Andersons money, plus I think Spence was just trying to come up with excuses to not go out on their own.

I thought they were going to end the show with a cliffhanger right after Rock tells Anderson it's a package deal and he said it was a nice speech. That was followed by an awkward silence.

Overall, it was a well done episode. I liked how they did the flashback of the office getting trashed.

I actually prefer your cliffhanger ending.

I turned this on as something to watch as I fell asleep. Ive been binge watching all night.

Im actually loving it.

ETA- I watched the entire first season in one sitting. Love the casting. The first pitch was great. CANTWAIT!!!! (/Bart Scott) for season two.

Ridiculous episode last night. No bearing on reality in terms of the scene between Andre and Spencer.  No chance a meeting like that has ever happened.

I felt similarly.

I liked season 1 well enough but find myself watching this just because I'm going through the motions essentially.

Best thing about this show is the NFL doesn't like it or want it on TV.

Also there should be a lot more female nudity.

I watched this week's episode... First time I've seen the show.

If that was any indication, that was some seriously bad TV. Writing and acting just goofily bad. I had John from Cincinnati down at the bottom of HBO shows, mostly because my expectations were so high. This was way below that. Like they were just trying to make another entourage, but lacked the talent or ideas.

John From Cincinnati makes me laugh every time I see the phrase.

So many long, silent looks into the camera from John. Oof.

I still enjoy the show.  Been watching it regularly from the start.  Like the big former O-lineman (Charles) and his no-nonsense wife.  Also love the skeeviness/carefree Joe.

I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons, but already the show is becoming a "let's see what superstar athlete we can get to make a cameo this week". The show is going off track and has lost the luster it enjoyed in seasons 1 and 2.

And yeah not enough #### and ### so far. We need more of that to keep me interested moving forward.

Jumped the shark after two seasons. Went totally off the rails. All it cares about now is zany nonsensical plotlines and cameos. Cringe worthy.

Is everyone out on this show? For some reason I find myself enjoying it. Probably because it's a quick 30 minutes.

Charles wife is pregnant this year. Boooooo
