I'm fine with them having Vick just not screw up but Bell and Williams had some nice runs early. You don't have to pretend to use Vick at the cost of your running game. The defense knows he can still throw it deep. That alone is enough. Just let him throw it down field 2/3 times off the play action and then stick to the running game. It will be nice when Bryant is back who seemed to have a good connection with Vick.

I think everyone knows that Haley doesn't change for any QB under his reign. It also seems no secret to me that Vick was a Tomlin get. I think he is a good team player and maybe has some athleticism left in the tank but it's been pretty damning to watch.

Why no check downs to Forsett? Forsett had a strong running game but getting nothing from passing is really limiting his value.

I would like to think he would be cut if they thought that poorly of him. Omar Jacobs was selected in the 5th some time ago and he didn't survive a training camp.

This is exactly what I was thinking... The Steelers would rather run Vick out there even though he's been there for about a month instead of the guy who's been there 3 years.

It sure does seem that way. I honestly thought Landry looked ok this preseason. He was throwing to the right spot and his JV WR's were doing him no favors. That being said if they win this game with Vick not making mistakes. Hard to argue even though the offense has been terrible in the passing game tonight.

Meh....too easy to criticize a call when it fails...and that fake barely failed. Only a terrific defensive effort stopped it.
