Unfortunately, we have a controversy with one of our semi final games...
This is a play-by-play from CBS Sports:
. B.Cundiff kicks 70 yards from BLT 30 to NO 0. R.Bush to NO 4 for 4 yards. Lateral to M.Colston to NO 4 for no gain. Lateral to R.Bush to NO 35 for 31 yards. Lateral to R.Harper to NO 41 for 6 yards (J.Parmele). FUMBLES (J.Parmele), RECOVERED by BLT-T.Gooden at NO 43. T.Gooden to NO 43 for no gain (D.Clark). Penalty on NO-R.Bush, Illegal Forward Pass, declined.
We have a rule in place that NFL.com is our official score card in case of any scoring disputes, they do not show New Orleans losing a fumble in the official stats as of now. This fumble recovery, if scored for Baltimore, will change the winner of the game. No, it's not my team, I'm the commish of the league and the two owners involved are getting pretty heated about it.
We also have a rule in place that allows owners to protest any scoring disputes until Thursday noon after the week has completed. As far as I'm concerned, we have the NFL.com scoring rule in place for this very reason, rules are rules as voted in by the league. Is anyone else running into this and how is this being scored in your leagues? Thoughts? Thanks in advance.
