I am looking at Oak/SF U 8.5 and SF +1.5.

I think this will be a close low scoring game. Any thoughts on this? I am looking for something on this game. I got my leans after reading the stats at MLB and the trends of the 2 teams.

What do you think?
I parlayed Oak -136 and oak/SF U8.5 +105
I nailed that one  :wall: :wall:

Todays plays :bag:

Arizona +121 because its my home team and I am going to sit on my ### and drink beer watching it.

Parlay LAD -220, Col +106, LAA/AZ O9.5, NYY G2 -235

Col=dog system play

LAD=better team and I am sure they will win to distance themselves from the Dbacks :wall:

NYY=better team :unsure:

LAA/AZ O9.5=after last night I expect bullpens to be tired leading to extra scoring and because its my home team and I am going to sit on my ### and drink beer watching it.

Good luck to all.

:tumbleweed:

Just played a RL parlay on ChiSox/Yankees tonight. No real writeup here, just took a white hot Chicago team and a much superior Yankee team. g'luck

Yankees suck :hot:

I'm on the Brewers. Been fading Maddux for a bit now, and Capuano has been pitching well. Also, Cubs hit lefties 50 pts worse. I'm surprised the line isn't higher.

Thought about going against Silva again, but there's just not enough on Billingsley yet, and Minnie is red hot. The Dodgers have a little win streak going, but the last 3 were at home against the Pirates. I'll pass.

3 units on Mil.

This is what I tried but I rushed it and ####ed it up :bag: 1.5 units on Maddux :wall:

Also, 1.5 units on Hudson, line was too juicy and RJ is too much fun to fade

:lmao: I too, like to fade the big units...not tonight though, just one play. GL

I played an LA parlay tonight.

With the red-hot Dodgers, I get the benefit of facing Silva, who quite frankly has the propensity to blow up at anytime. The Twins have been doing it with pitchig lately, and I think this guy is the weak link. Dodgers offense is good, and I'll take it.

With LAA, I get Lackey and that's good enough for me. I've been saying for awhile now that I can't believe the Angels will be this bad all year. Lackey is a solid starter, I've got good defense behind me, hopefully we can hit enough to win.

g'luck

sorry I did not post this earlier (called it in on the way to my kid's ballgame)- over in hous/detr for 5 UNITS - line was 9 -115

I will keep looking for overs in Houston - at least tomorrow anyway as that pen is a mess after last night

Alot I like tonight, looking to probably parlay this whole together as well as some individual plays:

Houston +127 ( it is the rocket on the hill - that is a great price IMHO)

KC + 187 - another great price - Milton should be -200 against anybody

LA Dodgers +155 - Lowe is no slouch and while being a sinkerball pitcher of turf concerns me, Lowe has pitched well and I think LAD is easily just as great top to bottom as Minn - again, I like the price

NYM/Bos O 10.5 - 2 rookie pitchers versus two powerful offenses, in a bandbox and boston ran through their pen yesterday

Philly/Balt O 9.5 - again, one rookie pitcher and another not so good one, in a bandbox, where the O's score a lot more runs than when on the road - Philly is also stroking the ball lately

Altanta/NYY O 10 - J. Wright is not very good and H. Ramirez is awful. the Atl pen is awful as well and two solid offenses - I think this goes over

KC/CIn O 10 - 2 in effective pitchers in the Great American Bandbox - Cincy can rake and KC is actually showing signs of life - gotta think this over hits.

GLTA

Tonight looks pretty tough to me tonight. Just one play:

Parlay ChiSox Buerhle -1.5 (-115)/over Cle/St Louis 8.5 (-115)

Okay, I know both of these don't look that great, but here is my thinking:

1-White Sox are hot. Burehle is about as solid as they come in a starting pitcher. I get to go against Pittsburgh, and they are running out Ian Snell. It's worth it to me to get the juice down by laying a run and a half as this could easily be a laugher.

2-Cleveland and St Louis both have real good offenses. Sabathia has not been lights out recently, and Reyes is still young. I can see a tight game here, and hopefully a 6-4 outcome should be reasonable. The way I see it, either team has a reasonable chance to hit 8 by themselves if they can get the starting pitcher out early. Neither bullpen is lights out. I'll roll the dice.

g'luck

Philly/Balt was off the Board ????

Took all listed above in a parlay without philly/balt: 15 to win 1700+ and each game individually for .5 units

GLTA

3 units on the Brewers run-line. I LOVE Zambrano, but this is too much value to pass up. Cubs are awful, don't score much and hit lefties at .224 to boot. Many ways to win this one, I think.

Alright, been drinking a bit, and saw Brong with a 3-unit play. Usually, I'd be all over tailing this one, but when I see Z. Jackson pitching, I decided to pass. Zambrano has too much no-hit potential for my likings, and with Derek Lee back, Cubbies may muster out a run or two.

But...and I've been drinking, I've decided that all of the overs tonight look good, so I layed a little over parlay:

Los Angeles Dodgers/Minnesota Twins (O 7.5) for Game (-115)

Seattle Mariners/Arizona D-Backs (O 8.5) for Game (-120)

Colorado Rockies/LAA Angels (O 8.5) for Game (-105)

 All the lines just looked too low, so I played one unit to win 5.7

:towelwave: :towelwave:Always nice when you have one team destroy each of the overs by themselves.

Today, I like Oakland over a weaker NL West team. Blanton has been good of late and obviously, so have the A's.

I played an afternoon over phil/balt :banned:

I am looking at Texas @ SF over 9! - both of the starting pitchers have "B" level innings and rank # 80 and 97 in terms of expected ERA - that looks like an over to me.

I also like Blanton and the A's and the under in that game as the game is at Petco and features two quality starters.

I think seattle and AZ goes over 9.5 as King Felix has not been all that and Gonzalez pitching for AZ has been very hittable ( with apologies to Prop) - also consider that the game is in arizona, a notorious hitters park

I have leans in the early games with cws and Pitt going under, kc/cincy going over again and phi/balt going over but I don't think I like any of these enough to play them ( unless of course somebody talks me into it in the next 1/2hour)

So last night I got to my buddies place who gambles and drinks excessively. We look for a late bet and find it in Seattle, and the over. He ends up playing a 500 dollar round robin...and I take 3 units on Seattle (+137), 2 on the over(-115), and par it for 1.

Mariners get 5 in the top of the first to ensure us hitting one of the sides. BEAUTIFUL. But somehow Az comes back to eventually tie the thing at 7, and we look like ####. Meanwhile, our other play on the Brewers run-line is also flailing with the Cubs taking the lead, and bases still loaded.

Anyway, Jenkins makes a diving catch to save us in that one, and ####### JoJoMomma hits a three-run shot later. Neighbor called the cops we were so loud, but come on that was like a 5 dime swing. :lmao:

 You're very high on my list of FBG's I need to hang out with before I die. You and GM....I'm thinking a Vegas cornhole is in order. No one drinks and gambles excessively better than me.

Throwing this out here....

We've got one or two possible openings in HFFL this year. If interested, send me a PM....
Come on Brong, don't fight it. You're in. No reason for you not to, and don't give me this "too busy" crap.

Started drinking a bit....(full disclosure).

I'm on Texas +101 tonight. I lost a big wager (not-posted) last night on Texas......almost 4 units.....that's big for me. I plan on winning it back, eventually.

I'll try. It's not being too busy that's the problem...it's too many leagues...didn't like it as much last year.

We'll it isn't like you have big shoes to fill, you'd be replacing MarshallPlan.

Guru, I would think you'd be a perfect fit as well....

Okay, I refunded here. I'm going to make my first wagers on MLB in what seems like a long time.

 to Guru and SLBrong. Although, anything over even money on SLBrong actually showing for the draft is a pretty good value. I'm not sure how easy it would be to draft layed up drunk in Coasta Rica with a hooker under each arm.

:wall: Gave back the night...before.

I felt the pressure of having a FBG tail-ya bet. That's the worst.

Sorry everybody, bad lean.

lol at the 'rest of the acct' move
it wasn't very much after last night, but there's always something about that final 'I'm risking it all amount', no matter the size, no matter the game.
I agree GB. Pulled this a few months ago when my account whittled down to <$500, threw it all on Pistons ML, last minute jumper came through. Thankfully it has steadily grown since then, so hopefully won't be back in that situation anytime soon.

Screw it, 3 dollar on SF, and 2 on Peavy. Wanted to bet Oakland actually, but Peavy at -120? Come on, that's gotta be because "they can't sweep". Um, yes they can with their ace on the mound...last 2 games: 16 innings, 10 hits.

No value w/ Schmidt. :bag:

Is there any way at all they call this game in Pittsburgh? Pirates up 5-4 bottom of the 6th...

I have the rest of my account on Pitt +188....
:towelwave: :towelwave:Nice almost triple up!
