Can't believe I'm getting vig here with a red-hot Atlanta team. Marquis is not exactly lights out, so I'll take what I can get here. Atlanta's bullpen is rested, offense is hot, and Huddy is a quality starter, I like it enough to play it.

I think this line is wrong. Lee is a decent starting pitcher, but face it, his ERA is closer to 5 than 4 right now. Plus, the Angels are starting to heat up a bit. I think they are only a game out now and they know changes may be on their way so guys need to perform. Saunders this is his first game out this year. He may be a decent prospect, but so is Cole Hammels and he is not exactly lights out right now. Couple that with a more than capable Tribe offense....I'm hitting this again right now.

I'm far from guaranteeing anything, but the kid starting for Atlanta tonight had a 2.13 ERA in AAA ball, and the Braves have traditionally hit Carpenter pretty well. The way the offense is swinging it right now, I think +215 is tremendous value.

Boston and NY are both superior teams with starting pitchers that can throw me shut outs. I'll lay the runs here with both of them and not worry too much.

Washington and Florida is simply two bad starting pitchers going. Tight game last night got into each of their bullpens, and I'll take my chances scoring runs with two starting pitchers that don't even strike out 1/2 guy per IP and WHIP's each at about 1.5 per pitcher. Guys are going to be on base a lot here. Whether they get clutch hits is out of my control.

puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuThis is not looking good. Fortunately RJ was able to strike out enough Mariner's to make this all a wash, actually up a few cents when all is said and done.

Gonna play again in the afternoon games. Give me the following:

LAA (Lackey) -1.5/Milwaukee (Davis)

Here, I'm simply playing the better starting pitchers and hoping they prevail. Lackey has been pretty sharp (understatement) his past three starts, and I think he should carry me deep into the game. LAA's bullpen is pretty solid too, so if they get a lead early, not too concerned with them giving some runs back. Milwaukee is always a risky proposition, as they have the propensity to go dead cold offensively. However, I think Davis is solid enough, and hopefully Carlos Lee can remember that he is a free agent after this season, and Weeks and Fielder can show that they are young studs who plan to stay for awhile and we can win one here for the guru.

Look at the 2 pitchers last few starts, neither has been lights out lately. Only thing that concerns me is it being a day game, sometimes that screws up the hitters. I am just betting my regular unit as always.

Off the board...whatever, I'll find something else. So I stumble across Hoard's play of o8 in the Minny game. Ok, I find the Minny ML and BoSox ML and pair those with the over. 1 unit pays 3! Nice. I try to place the bet, no go Try it again, no go This was at least 10 mins. before Noon, game started at 12:05. Now I'm stuck here with 1 winning play and 1 that is looking good and nothing to show for it. Still have no idea why they didn't accept my parlay.

Which leads me to my next question, what looks good tonight? Looking at Halladay, he looks to consistently own the Yanks. 7-1 lifetime I believe. Not bad. Might look at playing Halladay at a low price, although he is facing Moose.

Green,I have found in the past some of my books will not let you parlay a game bet and an over/under bet on the same game.

I think it has to do with correlated bets. For example; If Minn wins the game is likely to go over so they dont want you parlaying the two. It ends up being more likely to hit. I remember reading something about that.

I've heard of that as well, but usually they will tell you whether or not that is the case. They didn't today. They will usually highlight said game and say that you can't parlay it. Oh well, lost out on a chunk of change today, would have been a nice way to jump back in. Didn't play the Jays. Might look for a later game or sit out the rest of the day altogether.
