When we were watching TV recently, she was sitting next to me and there was at least a cushion sized gap between her and Cassandra. :)

I didn't put my arm around her or anything. But there's faint interest from what I can tell.

I need to extract this girl from the situation of hanging out with me, John, and Cassandra. Tips?

No answer.

AND today:

So, how did breakfast with Cassandra's family go the other day?

No answer, I don't get her angle...

She is nontalkative via text but will then randomly show up with John and Cassandra.

Send her a text saying "Lets go do X on <some>day".

X does not include a movie, video games or weed.

 
I hang out with them. They wanted to hang out again the next night but I already made other plans and canceled.

...and since then she won't even respond to my texts. WTF to the MAX.

One message and you're all good? She put you through a few hours of torture by not messaging you back. Did she even think about what pain you were going through during that time? Did she apologize for stringing you along during that time? Did she tell you she didn't text you because she was balling some other guy during that time? One message and you're good? How inconsiderate of this girl. If she knows one message is all it takes for you to be happy, she is going to control you forever. Are you going to allow this? For shame!

It's impossible to say what goes through an 18 year old girl's head and try to retrieve any logic from it. Which is probably why you should be trying to date adults that are your own age. Not that it will be easy, but it may turn down the wtf factor from an 11 to about an 8.

 
I know I've been on board that this whole thing was not a fishing trip. And I stand by that decision. But I'm starting to get weary of these new posts.
