Sept 23 - Coach Ken Whisenhunt confirmed that Beanie Wells (knee) will make his 2010 debut this week barring a setback.
***Beanie owners getting anxious about their RB2 investment, we'd hold off on using him for one more week.
Sept 23 - Though Beanie Wells (knee) was limited again in Thursday's practice, he's expected to play Sunday against the Raiders.
***Wells was never going to get 25-30 carries, so Whiz isn't telling us much. He's only an emergency fantasy play this week.
Sept 24 3:32pm- Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt revealed Friday that Beanie Wells underwent arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus on September 2.
***If Wells does play, he'll be difficult to bench in such a favorable matchup. He's a high-upside RB2.
Sept 24 5:34pm - Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt said Friday that Beanie Wells (knee) looked "really good" in Friday's practice.
***Owners, ideally, would wait a week to see how many touches Wells gets, but the enticing matchup with Oakland is hard to pass up.
Listen... I'm all for up to the minute analysis and suggestions from the 'pro FF guys'... but you'd think they'd be a little more consistent with their advice.
Sit him, start him maybe, high upside RB2, wait a week.
I've always thought I noticed this with Roto... but never really took the time to check it out. This time, since my opponent is rocking Beanie, Ive been more attentive, and ya... Just seems like sloppy analysis work by a pretty darn good site for up to minute stuff.
