**Bears at Packers** (-3, 45) 4:25 (1 Viewer)

Herbert has really been bad this year
What? He's been the best RB on the team (as always) at 4.9 YPC and has improved as a blocker.
He wiffed hard on that Walker block and caused a sack. Shoe sting tackled on the first drive.
He puts up stats on bad teams when the Bears are rolling, but is never the guy to elevate the team.
Big difference between that and being really bad in my opinion.
You think he's a good RB1? What Aaron Jones just did is RB1 work. Herbert isn't close to that
I think he's ok. Jones is better, a healthy Jones is a borderline top-5 RB in the NFL.

Fields needed to pull that trigger to Kmet there. He wasn't open, but he had like a 6-inch height edge on the guy covering him in man. With Kmet's contract, you have to trust him to make that play.

Herbert is still horrible in pass pro. He's an average RB.

So Wicks has two touchdowns, huh?

Melton looks like he wants a job at least somewhere next year.

When did the Pack just get flush with receivers? It's crazy.

Tough there…probably the right call. But hell of a throw by Love. Have to catch that and leave no doubt.

Ok... flus can go
I'm ok giving him 1 more year. They showed clear improvement down the stretch. Defense didn't give up more than 20 since week 11.

100% on board with firing Getsy. I'm ok either way on Fields, he's a decent starter, who has gotten better, but Caleb Williams is a better prospect, just a matter of what the difference is between what they can get for Fields, and what they can get for the #1 pick, and if that difference is deemed bigger than the QB difference.

I think a Fields trade, or #1 pick trade will happen at the combine.

Flus' defensive play calling was shredded this afternoon. Getsy called uninspired and predictable plays. The line played awful and Fields had his worst game in a while. FML.

We were the 32nd ranked D through 4 weeks. So showing "improvement" doesn't mean much.

Bears Also mortgaged the future to improve this year. So that's not coaching...

I just can't go on any longer with a GM/HC that isn't 100% behind the QB. Let's just clean slate reset this.

How did they mortgage the future? The Sweat trade? Still have 2 1sts, and Sweat was a huge part of the defensive improvement and will be a defensive cornerstone.

I just hate the idea of going from 3 wins to 7 wins, and blowing it up, when they have lots of draft capital, with the likelihood to add more, and lots of cap space.

I think this season wasn't a failure. It was a step forward, maybe not as big as hoped, but still a solid one. Not everyone can be Houston, only they, Indy and the Rams improved their win total more than the Bears did, and the Rams kinda don't count as they only won 5 games in 2022 because Stafford/Kupp/Donald all missed half the season. I think there are some similarities between the Bears and Colts as far as taking a step forward, not making the playoffs, but clearly being a better team than before.

With Sweat it wasn't only that they traded an early 2nd, they paid him market value plus. One or the other makes sense.

When you trade value and pay value, it's not a good long term move. But look, I understand why it happened and it made the D much better, but this wasn't a playoff team either, so it's not a value trade in any form.

Crazy this Packers team has made the playoffs. Youngest team ever to make it I think.
Matt LaFleur doesn't get anywhere near the credit he should, including for getting the most out of Rodgers.
There are things that bother some and even me…but he has his team ready and put together a really good offense with young guys who just step up and play. Maybe you don’t need a #1 WR when you have guys that just get it done.

Look, I traded him away from my dynasty team, so I have no more dog in the fight, but Christian Watson was just on the cusp of being the total big dog before he went down with his second hammy injury. He was awesome against KC. Just dynamite.

I fully believe he's a true number one with a little more work. The question is can he get the work while healthy and can the team trust his body to hold up? It's a tough thing they've got going on with him, but I personally believe in the guy.

Oh i love the potential…and love that his absence has allowed Reed to flourish and guys like Wicks and Melton to step up. Things look good for the Packers as far as the skill positions.

And man I love Aaron Jones. He is just a baller when healthy and such a good guy.

The growth of Love this year has been really impressive, especially considering the numerous injuries the Packers had to skill position players.

I hate it also, but look at how GB improved and look at how Chi did from the 1st game.

Thing that pisses me off with GB is that they have 3-5 WRs drafted in the last couple years who contribute.

Bears have Scott who isn't as good as the worst of them.

All of them are young for GB. Doubs, Watson, Melton, Reed, Wicks, Heath, Musgrave, Kraft. How good are they? I don’t know…but all stepped ip this year for Jordan Love.

Exactly... they have all done more in the NFL than Tyler Scott. I'm sure Scott is more talented than a couple of them, but Chicago doesn't develop WRs
