Beat writer claims McCluster will miss multiple weeks (1 Viewer)

(Rotoworld) Nick Wright of 610 Sports KCSP in Kansas City reports that Dexter McCluster will miss multiple weeks with a high-ankle sprain. Analysis: McCluster was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, but beat writer Kent Babb noted that he was "just kind of standing around." The rookie was on crutches with a walking boot earlier in the week, so the high-ankle sprain comes as no surprise. Javier Arenas will handle all returns this week against the Bills.

Don't think this changes things much, even though they tried to get him involved last week.

I'm hoping for more Bowe and Moeaki love.

He's not a beat writer, just a radio hack, and his track record is not good. He throws #### at the wall to see what sticks. We know McCluster's got an ankle injury, so Wright is chucking out the rather obvious possibility of a H/A/S.

Wait for the official word on this one.

Well, he missed today's practice which is usually a bad sign. However, it's a good sign for Charles owners.

If you are in a league that counts return yards and plays a few IDPs this is the key sentence -- "Javier Arenas will handle all returns this week against the Bills".

He's listed as questionable on the injury report. I'd think that if he has a high ankle sprain that he'd at least be listed as doubtful, right? Any word from the KC coaching staff on his situation?
