junkyard jake's fantasy football network has several start/sit links on it's site. i discovered footballguys a few years ago via junkyard jakes. footballguys is still a staple on junkyard jakes site.

I looked at it for a minute and saw where they had Dede Dorsey in their bench/start section as a Colt- then clicked off.junkyard jake's fantasy football network has several start/sit links on it's site. i discovered footballguys a few years ago via junkyard jakes. footballguys is still a staple on junkyard jakes site.

Wow, I couldn't imagine have that small of an attention span. That would suck. Pigskin addiction is hands down the funniest FF site on the net and I read their predictions and recap regularly for their comedic value. However, as for actual insight and analysis, they are no better than the garbage you get from anyone else. You really only have 2 options: (1) Go with your gut or (2) bite the bullet and join a pay site.

I don't understand it. People go to others for their rankings before their draft. Then they go to others in order to be told who to start. Why even play? I guess everybody is different but I can't understand why anybody who is into playing this game would want to have others tell them what to do at every step.why not manage your own team?

i don't always go with what other people say, but i do like to hear as many opinions as possible when making my own decisions.

Seriously, just look at your team...view your players match-ups and make your own decision!!Last I saw, I was reading things like "Start Deuce this week, he is a guarantee to pound the rock and add up points for your team" , now all the owners who did that over another guy with a pretty good match-up may lose this week.In all reality, it's FANTASY people...Drew Brees had a bad game, I'm sure most sites would have given him the benefit and ranked him as high as a QB 5 this week......YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT IS GONNA HAPPEN....so go by your own choice and you will never have to answer to anyone else.That being said......who should I start????

It depends on how you play. Some people blindly look at a start bench list to answer a tough call between 2 players (you really don't need a start bench list to tell you to start Peyton Manning over Trent Green). That's going with someone else's gut. The more active player will read up on the matchups and whatever analysis a good pay site should give you. But at the end of the day, you have to make the call and you're going to go with your (hopefully more educated) gut.

A site I like that someone in this forum turned me on to is called Fantasy Football Journal.com. They have a column by a guy named Fred Cannock that I like. He also works on their Thursday podcast - I think he didn't do a column this week, but put his Starts/Sits on the podcast with the short week.
