BenJarvus Green-Ellis 3 TD vs the Giants (1 Viewer)

He was only active for 4 games in 2006 and 3 games in 2008. You need at least 9 in any one season.
He was on IR for all of 2007 which means that he has a 9-game "accrued season" under his belt. (In addition to his 6-game accrued season in 2008.) That makes him ineligible to be on a practice squad ever again.

He did not dress for more than eight (8) regular season games during his only accrued season. Making him eligible this season. It's right there in the rules I just posted. :excited:

Taylor was also on the roster for 6 games in 2008, which counts as an accrued season. So, it doesn't matter if he didn't dress for 8 games in 2007. He's got a total of 2 accrued seasons which makes him ineligible for the practice squad.

every time I see a new post in this thread, I come in expecting to get some BJGE news, only to find we're still talking about Chris Taylor. A little annoying... :excited:

Incorrect. He only played in 3 games (Weeks 1, 3 & 4), but he was on the 53-man roster for 2 others (Week 5 and Week 6) and furthermore spent Week 7 on IR (link) before being waived prior to Week 8.That means that he was on full pay status for a total of 6 games in 2008. According to the collective bargaining agreement, that counts as an accrued season.

Again... what you are missing is.... Per the CBA

He did not dress for more than eight (8) regular season games during his only accrued season. That makes him PS eligible.

And what you are missing is the part in bold. I don't understand why you keep highlighting something that only applies to players who have ONE accrued season. Taylor clearly has TWO accrued seasons, so that section of the CBA does not apply to him at all. Do you disagree?(apologies to ebcpastor2004)
