When do the Bears turn to oe of those guys to see if they have anything better at RB than Benson.

I am a benson owner, and I have Wolfe, couldn't get peterson. Since Peterson has never really done much I am thinking the Bears may look to Wolfe in the near future to see if they should address the RB position again in the 2008 draft.

Any thoughts.

Wolfe was on the Bears' inactive list for the first time this season this sunday.

out of peterson and Wolfe, peterson has more fantasy value.

I think the Bears have decided to sink or swim with Benson this year, till the end. Obviously they have, and will continue, to sink with him.

I've got Benson in one league but did not back him up with Wolfe or Peterson. In fact both are on the free agent list at the moment. IMO, neither one of those guys is very good either and I don't think they would turn out to be an improvement over Benson. Both look like 3rd down material at best. If you are a Benson owner, your best hope is that he finds a way to turn it around. Because having Peterson waiting in the wings will just be more of the same.

As someone who's watched most of the bears games this year, Peterson has came in on passing downs and ran mostly draws. He's Travis Minor part II. Benson would be getting near the same YPC on the carries peterson is getting, he just doesnt catch the ball as well.

Most of Peterson's production has come on third down when teams are defending the pass. He did have a nice stretch in 2005 where he performed well. But that still was only 76 carries total during '05. I just don't see this guy being able to carry the full load. Obviously Benson isn't doing it either, but I don't see AP as an every down back.
