If Bernie Sanders had been the nominee, Donald Trump would have won easily. Trump would have won Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada. He was simply too leftist for the American people to accept.

Sanders would have been more of a vote 'for', but with COVID-19 in play, Trump's 1st debate performance and his overall behavior, he turned off some in his own party and inspired the other party.
If there was no COVID-19, Trump would have won easily despite his best attempts to lose with his behavior.
