I like doing 5 MFL10s per year. You win 1, you double your money.

Can't imagine people doing dozens of these. Just doing 5 I feel like I'm constantly monitoring email. Kind of messes with your daily life.

Amazingly, out of the 10 MFL10s I've done last year and this year, I've never had a draft position higher than 8.

It doesn't really bother your daily life. You can pre-draft whenever you want and you have an 8 hour timer once you're OTC. Plus, if you import a pre-draft list it's that much easier.

Yeah, I tend to just check in in the morning, after lunch, and right before bed. I predraft if I have anything coming up within 8-10 picks. One thing that definitely suffered for me with playing volume is that I have been a bit less attentive to the composition of other teams, so I'm not as aware, for example, of who might go at the turn between my picks if I have something like 1.03 or 1.08. It takes more work to do that sort of thing, and when I have 4-5 drafts going at a time I tend to make predrafting decisions a bit more quickly.

I have an email filter that only shows "on the clock" emails in my inbox, the rest go into a folder I never check.

I usually only pre-draft when it's 4 or fewer spots ahead of me. I suppose I could get better at that.

Twice now I have missed being on the clock at 8pm because I was doing something else, then I wake up in the morning and I got an ADP pick.

Depends on what you can handle. I'm a single dad with 2 young kids, and a busy job with a 50mi commute. Doing more than 2 MFL10s at a time is too much for me.

If you go into the MFL league settings you can change which emails they send, and also set up alerts via text message when you're on the clock.

You said you only do 5 a year but you're doing 2 at once? Maybe just start doing them earlier in the year and only do one at a time. If you're ready for them then the earlier you start the better the teams you'll have.

Also, import your draft list. Don't use the MFL ADP. You just copy and paste. It's extremely easy and you'll be able to make picks faster and pre-draft a mile out. It's such a big time saver.

The other time saver is leaving the Draft Report on a tab on your phone. Hit the refresh and you'll see how many picks you're out and with that imported Draft List you add the amount of picks you need and you're set. I pre-draft in line at stores, waiting before a meeting, pretty much just about anywhere that I have 90 seconds or more. Most of these leagues only get through 2 or 3 rounds a day. So, if you pre-draft/make a pick with your morning coffee, at lunch and before bed you'll be good.

There's no need to try and follow the ebb and flow of these drafts because there really isn't any.

*Not trying to convince you to do more (unless you want to) but I felt the same way before Broadway pointed out the Import Draft List tool. Now, it's a breeze.

I believe it's because QBs are much more consistent but defenses fluctuate so much. The more defenses you have the better the chance you hit one with a big week.

One thing I wish I had done differently would have been to take a WR flyer rather than Virgil Green. I also waited really long on rB4 and went a bit overboard when I probably should added a WR in one of those spots too, maybe a 3rd D. It's certainly far from perfect but I'm generally happy with this roster.

Go to the "MyLeagues" tab and select "turn 10 into 100" the management leagues are directly below the draft only.

In a nutshell: no trades, first come forts save waiver with worst to first priority by 10:00 pm Tuesday night. After that it's first come first serve. It's same ppr rules but you submit a head to head lineup. Only 16 bench spots makes it interesting. I did three last year and made playoffs in two and winning one outright. I've done 6 this year and that's it. Some of my teams look amazing on paper. All it takes is one or two nimrods to join and take Alfred Morris in round 2. But overall they seem competitive. Especially in the last couple drafts I did. For 25 bucks you can't beat it.

I understand that many might want to avoid him altogether, which is fair, but he has ridiculous upside that should probably be explored in this format.

Analysis: The only two players I was consistently taking in the top 7 rounds were Andre Johnson and Doug Martin. Both guys should have been drafted much higher IMO so very happy with their values. Most of the guys I went heavy on were mid/late round fliers, which I'm okay with as they shouldn't break my team if they bust.

Floyd is the mid-round guy I was most passionate about. I think the community was completely off base with the John Brown analysis and it's frustrating that the dislocated fingers might make bad analysis into a good pick for John Brown believers. Still think Floyd will finish the year as the best WR in AZ if the hand doesn't have lingering issues.

Watkins is another guy I feel the community is 100% snoozing on. Though I admit, I would not touch him in lineup submission leagues. Best-ball, I'm all over him and actually wish I had more.

Analysis: The TEs should be survivable for the most part, as I purposely drafted 3 and sometimes 4TEs in most leagues to make up for waiting longer to take unproven guys. The Gordon pick is the main one that will hurt since it was usually a 3rd round pick but it shouldn't be crippling if he flops. Don't even know how James White snuck in there.

Analysis: I'm fairly happy with this turnout. Kevin White was the most frustrating one, b/c I drafted him a couple hours before the bad news came out. Tried 3 QBs in one league and that was the Geno league, so I'll still be competitive there.

Doubled down on my early Foster picks with some 5/6 round picks so we'll see how that goes.

Robinson was hands down the one player who kept making me shout F-Bombs at the guys who sniped him in front of me. I could not draft him to save my life.

Overall my teams are pretty healthy considering I started drafting in May. One team had Jordy Nelson, but a lot of CJ Spiller rosters from back in the early days of 4th/5th round ADP.

Thought my Week 1 was worse than it really was. Considering a majority of my most owned players had bad weeks, this is somewhat encouraging.

50% of my teams finished top 4 in scoring.

41% finished bottom 4.

No use in having a bunch of mid-tier teams I guess.

Counting on pissed off Patriots. So, Brady, Gronk or Edleman were draft targets for me. A couple of other guys like Woodhead just seemed like really good good values on draft day. Of course, you can't overlook a healthy dose of dumb luck.

I definitely bet on the wrong 30+ year old WR, don't think I drafted Fitzgerald in a single league. Also have a Romo/Brees combo in one league that's going to kill me going forward.

Foster, Murray, Spiller, Andre Johnson and Dez are the main players hurting my teams.

Somehow ended up being the highest scoring team in 25% of my leagues this week but overall not too happy with the way things are shaking out. Hopefully some of these guys get healthy and produce.

Up to 20 winners despite sparse top dogs and my most heavily owned guys (Rudolph, Decker, R. White) on the shelf or doing squat. But now only 6 teams within 25 points and another 22 within 50. Just under half of my leagues are in the top 3. The chaff gets separated quickly as my 12th place count is going up quickly. Foster's return could spark some life in some of the strugglers.

Fitzgerald sits comfortably atop the top scoring slot. Julio, Steve Smith, D Freeman, and Allen round out the top 5 of heavily owned players. Dion Lewis is owned in less than 10% of leagues, but sits at 5th overall. Amazingly, Steve Smith went undrafted in 1 league.

Still doing well. Though, as you said some important byes coming up. I'll try not to get my hopes up too high until week 16 or so.

After week 3: 8 teams - now 4 1st's, 3 3rd's, 1 4th. Most importantly all are competitive. The 3rd's and 4th are all within 20 of the top team in their respective leagues (luckily in a couple of low scoring leagues).

Of course, it's sometimes better to be lucky than good. My top team is at 571 points. The draft went a little differently for me and this team is the only one without any Patriots of consequence (just Amendola). I got lucky when Big Ben went down, as Dalton has been pretty productive. Larry Fitzgerald has far exceeded my expectations, outscoring both AJ Green and ODB on this team.. Olsen and Witten have done what I was hoping for and Latavius has been the lone bright spot among my RB's.

Congrats on your teams' success so far. 50% in the $$ + purposeful bye week planning. A nice place to be.

Hard to believe I actually added a first place to 21 this week. 5 teams within 25 and another 18 within 50. Very pleased with this at the quarter pole of the season, with my average team score being 608 - 27 points above mfl10 average and an average rank of 4.75.

Patriots were my most heavily owned team and am through their bye week.

Freeman leaps into the top spot over Fitzgerald this week. Their ADP was 2 picks apart at 87.6 and 89.5. Julio, S Smith, and K Allen remain top 5. Hopkins/Hurns/Edelman poised to take Smith's spot.

On the flip side, of players owned in 1000+ leagues, Dez Bryant, Kevin White, Sammie Coates, Kelvin Benjamin and Julius Thomas are the worst performers.

That is interesting stuff. I don't think there was a league that I participated in that I didn't at least get one RB in the top two rounds. I avoided most of the early land mines at RB so far(knock on wood). I don't think I have Lacy/Anderson/McCoy on a single roster. I do have 10% Murray and 5% Lynch/Hill though and none of those are living up to their billing.

Up a couple winners to 23. 7 within 25 points and 15 within 50. Really struggled to fill lineups this week, especially at the WR position with byes and injuries. MFL10 average score is 713. My average score is 754, 41 points over average, a gain of 14 points from last week. Average rank is 4.46 a slight increase from last week.

Freeman and Fitzgerald cushion their best players of the year. 288 Dion Lewis owners are also very happy. Julio is followed by newcomers Hopkins and Hurns to the top 5. Nothing new in the worst players to own category, although Julius Thomas might make a climb up to mediocrity soon.

League 35186 contains the overall points leader. I'm sitting in 3rd at what should be a very competitive 784 points, but am almost 220 points behind.

I've got Freeman in 21% of my leagues, so that's good. I have Miller in more, and that hasn't been so good. I'm doing alright. My best team is at 964, a Gronk team with Freeman and Dalton. I actually have Dalton in 18%, which has also been nice.

Definitely some shakeup with some previous dead weight putting up nice scores. If you're not on the road to recovery this week, it's probably safe to put the league to rest.

I download the weekly results for all the leagues into my database that I use for analysis, very similar to what I did to get ADP while all the drafts were going on. If you used a similar team name for your teams, I can post one for you.

Dropped one winner to 22. 8 within 25 and 10 within 50. Slowly falling victim to the Freeman effect. The advantage he has given is obscene. My average rank is 4.15, getting better amazingly, as it's so much easier to fall down than climb up. My 913.6 average points is 55 points above the 858.2 all average. 51 of my 104 teams are in the top 3. Still doing much better than anticipated as 15 wins was my success target.

Freeman was drafted in all 3,351 money MFL10s. He is in 1st place in 1,313 of them. Hopkins/Fitz/Smith/Allen have 802/716/635/612 winners respectively.
