Obviously a lot of WRs are currently injured..Plax/Roy/Boldin/Holmes/Harrison/Hackett/Battle/Coles/Cotchery all off the top of my head. With the playoffs coming up, who are the best available WRs on your leagues waiver wire.

To keep this from being a Assistant Coach topic, I have listed the TOP WRs added at MFL last week and this week, after deleting those that are likely unavailable in most leagues. Did I miss anyone that you think might be available? Here is how I ranked them.

Only available in some leagues. Pick one if you need a WR this week.

1. White, Roddy ATL WR

2. Porter, Jerry OAK WR

3. Johnson, Bryant ARI WR

4. Furrey, Mike, DET WR

5. Toomer, Amani, NYG WR

6. Bruce, Isaac STL WR

7. Burleson, Nate, SEA WR

Available in most leagues. Crap shoot. Possible worthy of a Roster spot. If your desperate.

I was just going to post a thread similar to this. I would add Burleson to this list as well as he may be available. I think White is a definite add. I also like Johnson, Rice, and Gage.

I'll be picking up Bryant Johnson.

Personally, I wouldnt touch a Vike or Titan right now.

I would toss Drew Bennett on that list too. He might make a splash down the line.

From those 2 lists, i would go with B Johnson (some one has to catch the ball in AZ) and Gage. Gage has become a legitimate target for V Young and the Titans appear to be loosening the reigns a bit now.

picked up Bryant Johnson (lost Boldin yesterday) and Justin Gage today (after Roy was announced done).

i fully expect the worst for my 3rd WR Randy Moss tonight.

Roy looks to be going on IR, so Furrey might have additional value.

Brad Smith is getting targeted quite a bit by Clemens, and Cotchery may be done for the year.

My league starts 3WR and we have a week 17 championship game. I have a bye in week 15 and have already clinched 1st place in week 12. My problem is that Cotchery and Roy were my two backups and with TO, Braylon, Brady and Romo, I need some backup help in case people start resting. I have made it through this season pretty well injury wise, but starting to look like my team, which is scoring 20%+ more points than the 2nd place team (Westy owner), could very easily not win the championship.

For some reason someone dropped Kevin Curtis, have no idea why, and Furrey is still out there (10 team league with only 15 people rostered per team). I am near the top of the waiver wire, so hopefully I can snag Curtis and I wouldn't be surprised as the Roy owner if Furrey goes unclaimed as well.

I wish I knew for certain that Roy and Cotchery were gone for the season since I don't really play again until week 16. Either one I would keep for week 17 if there were any chance of them playing. Especially sucks seeing as Roy was 5-85 in under 2 quarters and potentially going to get the amount of looks he was early on, when he was easily top 10.

I would put Burleson higher on the list, especially since he's performed well FF wise in his previous starts. Whereas many on that list haven't. Boldin was smothered without Fitz out there to draw coverage so I dunno how well Jouhnson would do with one or both out would do. Furrey just hasn't done anything yet and who knows how the Lions will finish the season. White and Porter may be decent picks but think about what teams they are on. Do you want to take a chance that surprisingly decent numbers will continue? Manning's performance is sketchy at times so Toomer is a sketchy pick. Bruce looks pretty good, especially now that SJax is healthy. Personally I'd put Burleson on top of the list due to his pas performance and the fact he's on a good offensive, pass happy team and also has a chance to run a kick back as well. So basically just invert your rankings.
