Best Free League Site for 2007 (1 Viewer)

I've been using AOL for the past few years and was wondering if it was still the best free league management site.

Any info on whether others have improved and which is the best for 2007?

I signed up on Fleaflicker this year. Don't have any in-season experience with it, but as far as setup and flexibility goes, it's top-notch, and apparently it also provides free live scoring.

i have never done a free FF but yahoo has good free fantasy baseball and basketball
NFL.com is the only reason yahoo's isn't the worst out there. ESPN's sucks pretty bad too. Well OK that's really a guess as their pay site blows. Wouldn't think the freebie would be better. Then again, this is ESPN.....I have heard AOL is good, so you might be better off standing pat.

Flea Flicker looks interesting.....I took the tour and the one question I have, is there a league message board? I would ASSume there is but without a venue to taunt other league members, I would have a hard time convincing the rest of my league to make the move.

Don't understand the dislike for ESPN. They have had some glitches in the past, but I think that was due to server demand more than anything. The site interface is good. I have used it for the past 3 years now with one league. Including the paid service whcih added live scoring and few other things.

That said, ESPN is completely free this year. The only paid part of their site is if you want to try to win some prices, for custom leagues, there is no upper tier.

ESPN has improved alot.... They seem to increase their options every yr and this yr they offer Free Live Stat Tracking.

I'm done w/ yahoo.... I will still draft there; but can't take it serious anymore

Going in to our 3rd year with EASports. Don't have a single complaint. No fee this year (in the past it was like $50-$75, but they always included free vouchers in new copies of Madden).

The live scoring is great, and you can quickly access info from previous years. They keep track of past records for your league, like who scored the most points in a game and season, who had the highest scoring QB, RB, WR, etc. Nice messageboard feature, and you can upload images into it. You can upload custom logos for your team, too.

Only problem I noticed this year is there is no option to set PPR when you create a new league. Since we had an existing league, it was already set in the scoring. May just be an oversight on their end, but could be a big deal breaker for some.

To those of you that use AOL; have you had any problems this season? I setup my league 2 weeks ago and at that time, there was a problem displaying the picture I chose to use on my team page. I emailed AOL a couple of times about this problem and they replied very quickly (within a couple of hours) that they are aware of the problem, but 2 weeks later, the problem remains. Also, the Invite Owners page doesn't work either.

I've never used AOL prior to this year and made the switch based on the positive feedback I've received about AOL. But I'm more than disappointed that AOL is having a few minor issues before preseason even starts and I'm hoping that they get their act together before the season starts. This league I started is new and will be filled w/ sharks, so it looks real shabby when the simplest things on the site don't work. No one wants to be known as the guy who runs the crappy FF league.

I do not pay $ for fantasy baseball or basketball so yahoo is an OK site since it is free. FF is a different story.

I was sent an invite yesterday and joined no problem. I have not really toyed with the site yet though.
