Me and my brother are looking to join a fantasy football public league last year we used xpertsports but with Red selling the site to some gambling site, who knows if they are going to have public leagues or if they can be trusted.

As of now, I'm considering going back to Sportsline ::gulp:: because they have a 600 dollar prize for first place in 100 dollar leagues (but without any prizes for 2nd and 3rd like xperts) so yeah if anyone could recommend any other public league better than sportsline, i'll be forever grateful.

Mike (who's FBG name is Unlucky) runs a professional operation, and it's very competitive. Payouts are fair and prompt.

I've always been a fan of TheSportingNews's Ultimate Salary Cap Football league. The game is like nothing else, the scoring system is extremely well-balanced, the strategies are really innovative, and the luck factor is really minimized. Of course, some people don't like it because there's no draft (you can start any players you want in any week, provided they fit under your salary cap), which basically turns the league into a competition to see who is the best at WDIS considerations.

I'm planning to sign up for a Phenoms league later tonight. I think the payout for the highest scorer during the regular season is a great touch

I was looking around myself and just got an email from our league commissioner service (RTSports), they are now offering money leagues! From the looks of their comparison page, their payouts are better than CDM or CBS. We have been very happy with their service over the years, I am going to have to check them out.RTSports Money Leagues

Does anyone know if the auction leagues at Phenoms usually fill up? I know you get refunded if they dont, but I dont want to get refunded! I want to join a league!

another quick question about phenoms, after you pay the entry fee into the league, do you receive your draft pick?

or is it the day of the draft?

in the past you get it the day before the draft when they set up the MFL league

I think it is usually a little more than one day -- though I think Omega has cut it that close; depends in part on when the league is totally paid up...and probably how many leagues Mike has to set up that are drafting the same day.

I think Mike sets up the website when everyone in the league has paid. You can then go the website to see the draft order.
