I agree. I prefer endzone seats over mid field. When we got our Eagles season tickets, I was a little down that they were in the endzone. After a few games, I have to say that I like that the endzone seats give a better view of the routes run and how the play develops. There's also a straight ahead view of the jumbotron. We're also in one of the first rows of the second level so we have a great view of endzone / scoring plays on our side... not to mention a great spot to throw batteries at opposing players and snowballs at Santa Claus.
What "perspective" of the players are you looking for exactly? As close to the field as possible. If I want to see the game, I'll watch it at home. If I'm going to the game, I want to be up close for a different perspective of the players and plays.
As you may know this judging by your avatar, sometimes the closest seats aren't always the best as is the case with the Redskins "dream seats". While they sound great in theory, every time the action gets close, so do the cameraman and security guards. As close to the field as possible. If I want to see the game, I'll watch it at home. At some point in my life I'm going to buy a van or truck that's dedicated to this. A couch, grill, big screen TV with all the sights and sounds of being at the game with the crowd noise etc. but without the annoyance of going in with all those filthy dirty Redskin fans!!!I prefer an end zone view as well. I want to be high enough that I have an unobstructed view of the entire field. Frustrating to be on the side line too low and you miss half the action because you are staring at the backs of a bunch of players and trainers and coaches and cheerleaders and camera carts and on and on.
That said, the club level at Reliant is pretty sweet. Went with a buddy to a game last year and we sat in his company seats about 40 yard line. Nice view, but cost prohibitive.
Best seat is in the parking lot, drinking beer and eating without dropping a small fortune on seats and concessions. Usually can find several rigs with large screens on which to watch the game. The tailgate crowd is where it's at.
I sat front row a few years ago. Just noticing the actual size of the OL was impressive. Listening to them talk and interact with each other was fascinating. This particular game had Favre when he was a Viking, and I enjoyed watching what he did when he wasn't on the field. Basically, everything that I was able to take in that I wouldn't have been able to see or appreciate by watching it on TV.What "perspective" of the players are you looking for exactly? As close to the field as possible. For an NFL game, agreed.
I remember going to games as a kid and seeing people in those seats. They couldn't see a thing. Cheerleaders, security, media...you name it...they were all in the way.As you may know this judging by your avatar, sometimes the closest seats aren't always the best as is the case with the Redskins "dream seats". Lower bawl, anywhere between the 40s and about 8 to 10 rows up.
What do yo say then to the Dolphins potential 'living room' boxes when their stadium is renovated? Tailgating, then go inside the stadium to a room, like a box, just with a big TV.I prefer an end zone view as well. I want to be high enough that I have an unobstructed view of the entire field.
