as the title asks, who is the better shark move/stash?

marshawn lynch - rumors of trade; imagine having him rostered if he gets traded to pats or even better GB. anyone have anymore info on his possible trade status?

keiland williams - becomes #1 rb if portis goes down, on a shanahan team

well shark pool, what do you think?

The Shark Move is to ask your WW pickup questions in the AC forum. :goodposting:

I think its a fair question for the shark pool.

I'd opt for Lynch. You're looking at opportunity plus ability.

Williams needs an injury to get his opportunity, and if it comes, the opportunity will be in a Donovan McNabb offense. Its true that Shanahan prefers a run fist offense, but it doesn't look like he has the horses for that sort of offense this year. Impossible to tell if Williams can be an NFL feature back, since he has never had the opportunity to be the man in College or the pros

Even if Lynch doessn't get traded, he'll be showcased for the next couple of weeks, so he has the superior oportunity. Also he has the track reord to show he can produce in the NFL when he gets the chance.

Full disclosure, I am an owner of Williams in a 16 team league. I'm guessing if I offered a Williams for Lynch deal, the other owner would laugh at me. Hmmm, I just might make that offer and see what he says.

I think the shark move is to bite them each once and come back for the kill in 5minutes.

One second thought I'd eat Williams first. Less hair.

I'll be honest in saying that i don't know much about Williams. But Lynch does have the track record (as the above poster stated), plus he just strikes me as one of those guys who if traded would like to "cram it up Buffalo's tail" by showing they should have stayed with him as the workhorse (not saying Buffalo should have, just what he might think). Again, just a guess, but I think if moved to a team where he was sharing with a much lesser player, he would take advantage. Also, if you are looking for a quick turnaround on value with a trade, "Lynch to GB or SD" seems to have more Juice than "Williams gets the job while Portis is out". I am sure you could trade Lynch immediately for a WR2 to a RB desperate team...i am not sure Williams would have that immediate effect.

To me lynch is an investment with a known timeline. He has to be traded by week 6. If he's not, then you can cut him. Keiland has to be held for an undetermined amount of time waiting for Portis to get hurt. You could finally give up and cut him only to have Portis go down the next week.
