I saw in another post where you said you were going with Flacco, I know we both have had some tough decisions to make on that this year so I was in the midst of replying when my reply got too big so I will just post it here.

Flacco/Ben owner also considering it but I just think Im gonna play it safe and roll with Flacco vs the best team vs QBs (NO). Flacco has been consistently solid all year.
I knew you'd say that...I'm still debating it myself but was leaning towards Ben. Ben was rolling too until he met the Saints D. Flacco is at home in this one so that should count for something...but it really doesn't looking at the stats.Saints have done this to qbs on the road so far:Carson Palmer 23/33 249 1 0Jon Kitna 30/42 313 0 1Jimmy Clausen 8/18 47 0 1Tony Pike 6/12 47 0 0Matt Moore 3/6 13 0 0Josh Freeman 25/43 219 1 0Max Hall 17/27 168 0 1Alex Smith 23/32 275 1 2The best game anyone has had against them came from Matty Ice with Saints at homeMatt Ryan 19/30 228 2 0Only 1 QB has gone over 300 yards against them and that was Hass, also with Saints at home, and Flacco doesn't go much over 250 yds too oftenEven with this I still haven't ruled out Flacco, Ben's injuries are a concern as well and the Jets D isn't exactly easy but Ben is killing it at home.Hes got to be a lock for 250 yards. I think what favors Ben in this one is that they will have to throw, the Jets D is better against the run than the pass and the same is true about the Steelers D which is why I'm thinking this will turn into a pass happy game. And if you look at the Saints they are way better against the pass than the run and have given up a lot of rushing tds. 8 Passing tds allowed combined with Flacco not hitting high yardage marks too often has me very concerned. The blue print to beat the other team seems to be in favor of helping Big Ben this week. The one thing I don't know much about is Ben's ankle and that is what is keeping me still on the fence but leaning towards Ben, but I have until Sunday to get that researched to death. And just to add I'm not saying Ben is going to be lighting it up here, just that I think he has more than a slight edge in this matchup (as of right now anyways). If anyone else has anything to add please feel free.
