Understanding that he has a bye week in Week 5, with the exception of Week 4 bye week players, that doesn't make BB any different in terms of losing a week of service than any other player.

If you have BB, are you starting to gauge his value on the open market now that his exile is almost complete? What are you finding?

Don't have BB but I just made an offer to get him: BB + Snelling (I have Turner) for Flacco & Hillis.

Maybe I should be more patient with Flacco but I think Ben is going to play lights out when he comes back.

A couple bad weeks. Not even P. Manning lights it up every week. 3 TDs last week was not exactly awful.

I would rather have the following QBs than Big Ben at this point (not necessarily in any particular order)

Aaron Rodgers

Drew Brees

Peyton Manning

Tom Brady

Philip Rivers

Tony Romo

Michael Vick

I consider the following QBs to be pretty much a wash with Big Ben at this point:

Jay Cutler

Matt Schaub

Of course, part of that is because each of those QBs has one extra game remaining compared to Roofles (those guys all have 13 games remaining, while Roethlisberger only has 12). After next week (when they're all on an even playing field), I would move Rivers down into the "pretty much a wash" group. The week after that, once Romo loses his 1-game advantage as well, I'd move him into the "pretty much a wash" group, also. This means that, going into week 6, I'd have 5 QBs clearly above Ben and 4 more QBs that were pretty much a wash with him, leaving Roethlisberger ranked somewhere in the QB6-10 range.

I like BB this year. He was getting a ton of praise for looking awesome in camp and preseason. I could see him putting up top 5 numbers going forward. I grabbed him off waivers 2 weeks ago in one league and am trying to trade for him in another.
