1. First off lets star with Buffalo what the hell is buffalo going to do with A. schobel and what is his value as an OLB or DE in a 3-4? Second who will be there SS, I hope to god they go with wilson because he is a beast and my canidate for sleeper of the year!!! any homers have any insight?

2. How about the Bengals!!! Hello Cin is anyone home Roy Willams sucks and Nudukwe is a monster so please put him at SS and let him play all downs!!! this one really baffles me!!!!

3. the Bears!! ok this one is a good thing I think Chris Harris with a strong line and an aging slow LB corp minus Briggs will get tons of tackles and big plays!!! he might be a top 5 DB this year because his divison looks Strong Saftey friendly this year.

4. Jacksonville!! Will Kampman return to the guy who is good for 60 + tackles and double digit sacks cracking the top 10 DE or is he an old washed up DE who will get you 30 tackles and 4 sacks? I wont even ask about Durant because I might jump infront of a moving car (let alot go last year thinking he was the future).

5. Min A Soda!!!! Ok EJ Henderson right now is not worth anything in FF because of his injury but can he return and make it an entire season or should he be traded after two good games for max value because he is not the future? Hell will he even return to an everydown LB role?

6. Chiefs!!! Will Rookie of the year Eric Berry get over 100 tackles and 3 int and how long will demarrio and Mays start before Derrick Johnson plays? I mean what the hell is going on hear it is derrick Johnson and from the games I watched he was a force to be reckoned with when he got to play?

7. Giants. Kennny Kenny Kenny will you return to form and be a stud? Please FF Gods let him fully recover and resume a full time roll in the box as a SS (not that SS/FS are much diff in NY).

8. Philly!! will the 300 DE Philly plans to rotate at the line cause a drop in T. Coles stats or will it keep him fresh all year and actually boast his numbers?

9.THE NY JETS D!!!! HOLLY CHRIST WILL ANY TEAM THROW OR RUN FOR MORE THAN 20 YARD A GAME!!!! gonna be fun to watch this year even if I am not a fan!!!!!

10. Oak land!! Did Ricky Brown go from FF sleeper Stud to a back up in a blink of the eye? Will Oakland ever see what they drafted in the second round and start Mitchell or was this another Al Davis blunder that will never see the field?

11. San Fran. Who will hold down the fort at SS in the Box Lewis, Mays or Goldson or will this turn into a rotation that kills all threes FF status? Lewis is only 30 even if he had 30 head injuries last season!!!

Not even sure if Schobel is going to play as he is contemplating retirement. If he plays, I assume he'll play OLB in the 3-4 but they might use more 4-3 looks this year as well. I think he'd have good value if he's still designated as a DE but obviously much less if he gets changed to LB. I don't think anyone knows what will happen at safety as it will likely get sorted out in training camp and could change throughout the season. Byrd looks like a strong favorite to start at FS, and then we have Wilson and Whitner and possibly even Scott competing for the starting spot at SS. I think Scott is probably the odd man out. Wilson outplayed Whitner last year but I still think Whitner will be able to win the starting job. Whoever loses could still see plenty of time in a big nickel package and possibly rotate in for Byrd on run downs.

There are lots of good posts in the forum on these topics over the past few months. I'd strongly recommend doing a search so as not to miss out on any good information.

What Buffalo does with Schobel is up to Schobel. If he decides to play, he's going to play LOLB and his value will look exactly like Aaron Kampman's did last year at this time. We might get some more information on the safety position this weekend, but likely not until the end of the month during the first full team OTA. Gailey hinted that Whitner was currently atop the depth chart, but the team tendered Wilson highly and re-signed Scott very quickly after free agency started. I still favor Scott narrowly, but this one is up for grabs until the new coaching staff comments.

This one shouldn't be baffling anymore. Though Ndukwe is around the ball and often makes big plays, he makes critical errors in his run fits and in coverage. Marvin Lewis and now Mike Zimmer have shown for years that they'd much rather have a less flashy, more stable veteran for their schemes. As always, however, we'll probably see Ndukwe get plenty of snaps if/when Williams suffers an injury.

Harris' value clearly has gotten a bump with the change in scenery and there's a whole host of guys who could move into the top ten. You should be able to get him as a DB3.

4. Jacksonville!! Will Kampman return to the guy who is good for 60 + tackles and double digit sacks cracking the top 10 DE or is he an old washed up DE who will get you 30 tackles and 4 sacks? I wont even ask about Durant because I might jump infront of a moving car (let alot go last year thinking he was the future).

Kampman can't be counted on for 45-10, but it can't be ruled out either. He's not washed up, but if he loses a half step in the first few months after his injury, it'll be hard for him to put up double digit sacks. He's someone that needs to be watched closely this offseason. It should be relatively easy to tell whether he's a DE1 or DE3 by early August.

I'd rather be recovering from Henderson's injury than Kampman's. Assuming we have all the information, there's very little risk of recurrence. He's pushing 30, but can reasonably be expected to last another year or three. I see no reason why he won't be an every-down player unless there's an unforeseen setback.

I think Eric Berry has a Sean Jones/Rodney Harrison like impact in this defense. Expect the Chiefs to start the season the same way they did last season. The guy to follow here is Jovan Belcher. He's already playing over Mays in the nickel and the coaches like him. He may be the most likely every-down player by year's end.

Don't hold your breath here.

Trent Cole might not take 90% of the snaps this season, but he won't come off the field much. Years ago, we were concerned that Cole faded late in the season, but that's not been an issue lately.

Yes, Brown is now an afterthought. Players like him are always high-risk, high-reward propositions and in danger of losing all value very quickly. I don't think Mitchell was a blunder. He was seeing more and more time in Big Nickel packages during the last month of the season. The Raiders considered Branch FS - Mitchell SS early last year before multiple issues kept Mitchell from the field. That could be considered again this preseason.

Mays will have to push Lewis aside at SS. If he can handle himself in coverage at all, he should be at least Lewis' equal in the box and win the job immediately. I think we saw Goldson's upside last season. The rest of the supporting cast (outside of SS/WILB) is still horrible, so Goldson may still reach 70 solos, but I don't see DB1 numbers in the long term for him.

12. Sea!!! Lofa VS Hawthorne ding ding ding

The Seahawks keep sending Leroy Hill home and have soured on Aaron Curry as the Elephant. Hawthorne isn't beating out Tatupu to play MLB, but there's an ever-increasing chance that Hawthorne willl be the starting LOLB on opening weekend.

Jones in a landslide, he has some issues of his own but Piscitelli is awful.

In KC the LB rotation will be determined by Romeo and there is just no way to know how that is going to shake out at the present. DJ could have a huge leap in value. I am avoiding Demo like the plague.
