Yeah. The thing was he at least was willing to take shots, the rest of the team looked scared at the end. Was hard to watch.

They also ran the same high pick and roll type thing over and over again for the last 2 minutes, was predictable and the big stiffs that Wisky have had caught on.

They have some good talent and Woodson was able to keep players there so hopefully that bodes well.

Big stiffs? Sorry your team crapped the bed when it mattered. Get some perspective though. These Wisconsin kids can play. They likely won't make any major noise this year but this is still a good team

Congrats to Rutgers....they played out of their mind. Why should have I expected anything different as a Purdue fan.

  • The #1 team in the country doesn't have a guy like Ethan Morton play 24 minutes.
  • Newman sucks. He's a horrible passer and just jacks up a shot when it's in his hands (1-5 from 3, and 3 turnovers in 13 minutes)
  • Edey is overrated. 
  • Williams should be starting and Painter needs to consider having both of his bigs on the court at the same time for certain parts of the game. 
  • PG play is their biggest weakness.

Watched the previous Rutgers game, and they got boatraced at Illinois.  Figured Purdue would do the same.  Crazy.  Rutgers seems to be a very different team at home vs the road so far this season.  And Purdue can't have nice things I guess.

 
Izzo was right, this Minny team is for real. Nice win at A2. Ben Johnson has something special going on there. Congrats and glad State got the win against them on the road at the Narn. They are for real.

Brutal officiating on both sides. The funny (sad really) majority of calls were complete opposite of what the announcers and everyone watching assumed it would be. Not sure where they got that officiating crew but they should never see another college basketball floor again.

the only thing missing from that 7 4 guy did purdue is a bean stalk holy smokes is that guy big pretty decent footwork and moves to the rim too impressed this old cat that is for sure take that to the bank brohans

I think Purdue will be on top at the end of this but Wisconsin will surprise few teams like they did last night. It seems incredibly rare to me to get a win at Mackey arena - totally unexpected.

Purdue doesn't have a go-to defender like they've had in the past aside from their team defense being a disaster. This coupled with horrid PG play are the biggest concerns. Hope they get it figured out. 

 
my favorite purdue guy is the one dude whose hair looks like it was falling out mid game that is a sweet look take that to the bank brohans

Has any team ever brought in the #1 recruiting class and missed the tourney?

OK win for Sparty over Nebraska.  The turnovers are going to kill this team unless they can do a better job protecting possessions.  20 turnovers is painful to watch... luckily Nebraska had nearly as many.

They were very lucky that game did not get outta their control. I agree on the TOs. Izzo is beside himself with the frustration at that. That freshman 5-star couldnt hit, but if he had I think it would have been a different story.  At least closer at the end.

As bad as UM has looked lately, giving up 20 TOs will certainly not get it done at Crisler this weekend. They are due for a big win.

Gabe Brown is on a roll.

In other interesting news, sounds like there is a real possibility that both Keon Coleman and Maliq Carr will be added to the roster in the next few weeks. That'll be some real nice bench depth to have at this point in the season.

Coach Juwan Coward announced last night at midnight that Michigan has canceled its game today with MSU at Crisler due to a case of Convenient-19.

No surprise. 

I thought the rule was if you had 7 scholarship player available and a coach you were supposed to play or take the  They we’re getting two more back this week, so that’s 9.

Betcha they duck Purdue on Tuesday too and then Illinois.

Crappy game from the Illini tonight, just seemed slow and out of it the last few games.  Luckily covid let Frazier come back for a 5th season, not sure where we would be without him at this point.  I will admit that after the first few games of the season I wasn't too impressed with Plummer, but he has made me a believer.  When Kofi and the 3 pointers are falling, hard to defend this team.
