Big Ten Basketball 2022/2023 - Return to Power (2 Viewers)

Purdue with road wins vs. a ranked Ohio State and Penn St. was nice to see after a let down at home vs. Rutgers. Edey with another monster game yesterday. The freshman guards continue to impress and make big plays. Probably don't deserve to be #1, but fun to watch.

Rutgers played a great game. OSU and PSU games are the epitome of Boiler basketball. I was pretty sure they would come out of these three games at 2-1, so I’ll take it.

That second half last night against PSU might have been the best offense performance I’ve seen from a Purdue team since the big dog days.

And Braden Smith has to be in contention for Freshman of the Year. Last two games on the road. 16.5 points 5 Rbs 6.5 assists and only two total turnovers. Amazing.

I am quite surprised at Northwestern. I still think they will go like 8-12 in conference - but a 3 -1 start is quite impressive. I had no idea they could score 84 points in a game. Nice win at Assembly Hall.

Wisconsin ranked 14 in the country was ridiculous. Understood given their results and history, but this team is a paper tiger that will fall back to reality very quickly.

I thought the guards were going to be a big problem this year. Kind of amazing what the freshman have done to this point. Will be interesting to see the Myles Colvin/Fletcher Loyer competition next year.

They have got to do something about reviews. The end of that game was absurd. If you can't determine what it is within 30 or 60 seconds, then just stick with the call on the court.

I-L-L

Another Dub. Felt like Dain Dainja's coming out party last game. An absolute load down low. Hawkins gets the press, but Dainja is the big that'll be key to them going anywhere this year IMO.

Purdue held Minny to 12 points in the first half. MN missed a lot of shots, but Purdue came out and played their asses off. Great to see in what was a potential let down game.

Loving B. Smith so much right now. This kid has it all. Purdue hasn't had this kind of PG in very very long time.

Maryland gets Purdue next. That could get ugly.

Maryland did beat UM last night after getting smoked by them a couple of weeks ago.

Much needed win by the Spartans. Very tough stretch coming. Jaxson Kohler is going to be very good.
Dude played well for a guy who looks like he's 12...
Agreed. LOL...It's going to be fun watching him improve over the next couple years. If he gets his body and stamina built, he will be unstoppable. I was very impressed with how far he's come over just the last couple weeks. Kid got a double double last night. He did everything except pop the popcorn.

LFG Axtion Jaxson!!!

If these ******** blow another 20 point lead I’m going to freak the **** out.
That 3+ hour practice the day before the Wisky game must have gotten some guys' attention. Good to see back-to-back games with good defense.

TJD was a monster last night.
I couldn’t watch the 2nd half mostly for my blood pressure and I had to make dinner with the wife.

Great to see them finish off a game strong.

What are they saying about Race’s injury. I think this starting lineup might be better in the long run but they need his depth.

I don't think I've heard anything from the IU staff. The game announcers said they thought both Race and X would be back by the end of the season, but IDK what that was based on.

It’s crazy how little info there is in College Bball.
