Bill O'Reilly FIRED from Fox News (1 Viewer)

Point is I've never seen a bunch of grown ### men piss and moan so much in my life. Half of every page every day is "omg how did this guy get elected", "omg this guy is soooo stupid", omg we are soooo doomed", ZOMG!!!!!!1!11!1!1

Idk if you boys can keep this up for four years...Or maybe 8. Good luck
No, the point is you made a statement you either can't or choose not to support, and now you're running from it by changing the subject.

However I'll play your game for a bit:

We're not "pissing and moaning," for the most part.  We're mixing jokes (which are both fun on their own and a coping mechanism) with expressions of serious concern about the future of the country. I cant speak for other people, but I share mostly to confirm that other people are seeing the same bat#### crazy stuff that I'm seeing and that others are equally appalled. It's actually very comforting when you think that the whole country has gone mad to hear that other people from other parts of the country agree with you.

If you want to dismiss our extensive and legitimate concerns, that's fine. In fact I kinda suspect dismissal is your own coping mechanism, because unlike many Trump supporters you seem perceptive and open-minded enough to know, deep down, that this man is a total ####### disaster, and you don't want to have to confront your role in that disaster head on.  But what do I know, that's just my own pet theory.

Anyway, back on subject- any interest in supporting your claim that both sides are equally hypocritical with some examples?

That took 5 seconds. If you want more Google is your friend

Obama attended half of them during his presidency according to that text, even though many came when he already had vast institutional knowledge after many years in office. He was criticizing Trump for skipping all of them when he had zero days in office and zero experience. And that is an opinion piece from the same guy who wrote thisHere's an actual article comparing apples to apples.  It contains the following passage:

After his election in 2008, President Obama took part not only in regular intelligence briefings but also scheduled “deep dives” on key subjects including Iran’s nuclear program and covert CIA operations, including the accelerating campaign of drone strikes in Pakistan.

“During the transition, President Obama was an avid consumer of intelligence,” said retired Lt. Gen. Michael V. Hayden, who was CIA director when Obama was elected.

President George W. Bush’s first briefing was delayed until Dec. 5 because of the Florida election recount. But Bush, whose father had served as CIA director, asked for daily briefings for the remainder of the transition.

President Bill Clinton got his first post-race briefing on Nov. 13, 1992 — 10 days after the election. He received daily intelligence briefings almost every working day of the rest of the transition time in Little Rock.
You think the biased claptrap you linked compares to the self-evident hypocrisy of the five examples I listed? Is that really the best you can do?

Those are false statements.  All politicians make them. I'm not sure what that has to do with hypocrisy.  In fact virtually every criticism of Trump's lying has acknowledged as much and explained why Trump's lying is different- because it is done incessantly and without accountability or admission of error.  By contrast here is Obama owning his "if you like your plan you can keep it" line. The difference, both in frequency and in accountability, really couldn't be much more stark.   And there's certainly no hypocrisy, since most everyone, including Obama supporters, wishes he hadn't said that.  If anything it's a great example of the fact that both sides don't engage in similar brands of hypocrisy, which was your still totally unsupported claim.

Ok you win. Your boy is just a dooshbag liar, not a hypocrite

So O'Reilly would be a centrist . . . if everyone else in the country was more conservative.
Yes, according to the "expert in the field" cited by Higgs.

"Two other people whose PQs are approximately 25 are Bill O’Reilly and Dennis Miller. They are significantly more conservative than the average American voter, whose PQ is approximately 50. But they are significantly more liberal than politicians like Michele Bachmann or Jim DeMint.

As my results show, if we could magically eliminate media bias, then the average American would think and vote like Stein, Miller, O’Reilly, and others who have a PQ near 25."
The "expert's" methodology is to eliminate what he sees as bias in the press to get the numbers in his study to come out to the numbers he believes are right.

These girls should count themselves lucky to be in the same room as media gods O'Reilly or watters (lol).  At least that's what they think

Hannity Reportedly Considering Not Returning To Fox News On Tuesday

According to the Independent Journal Review, Sean Hannity has gone “underground” while he decides whether or not he wants to return to Fox News next week.

You can't fire me, I quit!

Maybe Hannity Lecter wants to dedicate himself full time with Lewd Stinkb#### to the brain damaged Scooby Doo Seth Rich murder mystery.

There would always be a spot at the National Enquirer where he could ply his inimitable "hard hitting" mustard atrocity journo stylings, or possibly with the Alex "I can't remember my children because I ate chili at lunch", lawyer admitting its all just pro wrestling persona", "really just a scam pretense to sell nutritional supplements" Jones, Gorilla Rapist Pizzagate crew, maybe even a Putin/Assange staff level rank Kremlin disinformation propaganda filth spewer? He has already done their dirty work, might as well get on the payroll?

Really looking forward to a philosophical change of Fox News.  Maybe they can grow up and become like the television version of The National Review or something.  Or maybe they can go further down the rabbit hole of nutbaggery.

This might be a little bit different than what we've seen before.

This is all about the Seth Rich claims that Hannity broadcast. Fox actually decided to wield journalistic and editorial standards and told him to shut the hell up. And he did. But I don't think Hannity likes it.

And there's the Bill Shine thing.

Tbh I thought he was coming back, we'll see. But he will have to bend the knee on this Seth Rich stupidity.

Doesn't Hannity being a wild conspiracy theorist and popular with the old people who watch him just make him the front runner for the next GOP presidential nomination?

The Murdoch brothers do not **** around. If they decide they want you gone, you're gone. Ailes, O'Reilly and their step-mother Wendy Deng did not stand a chance against those two.

O’Reilly Settled New Harassment Claims, Then Fox Renewed His Contract

In January, the Fox News host was said to have agreed to a $32 million settlement with a former network analyst, the largest of his known payouts.

Good explanation!!

In response to questions about why he sent sexually explicit material to Ms. Wiehl, Mr. O’Reilly said that during his time at the network, he had been sent threatening messages almost every day, including some that had obscene material. To deal with this problem, Mr. O’Reilly said, he set up a system in which the material would be forwarded to his lawyers so they could evaluate whether he needed to take any legal action. Mr. O’Reilly said Ms. Wiehl was among those lawyers.
