**Bills at Jets** (+10.5) (45.5) (1 Viewer)

I'm pretty unhappy about Milano being out for this one. Sure, the Bills should win anyway, but no Hyde and no Poyer and no Milano represents a lot of star power that can't be replaced. I'm assuming here that Tre either won't play or will be a very limited snap count, so there's that too.

Obviously I get that this is just a single game in early November and we want to be cautious and have our guys ready to play in January. I'm cool with the team being conservative with injuries at this point in the season. But we seem to make a lot of these calculated gambles against weaker opponents, and it's only a matter of time before one comes back to bite us. The Jets aren't a very good team, but they a defense that can keep them in a game, and anything can happen if it stays close late.
 
I have several interests in this game, being a Dolphin fan looking up at BUF 2 games ahead, but with almost no chance to be anything other than a wild card (we almost lost to PIT and DET). We're competing with the Jets for a wild card.

The other interest is my fantasy team has the BUF defense. If BUF can score early, I think Wilson could make mistakes throwing the ball. The NYJ have a very good defense, but the only thing stopping BUF from scoring points this year has been the occassional errant throw from Allen. Hines makes them a little better.
 
Robert will have New Jersey ready to play in this one. They won't back down. Jersey's D should keep this close,but if the game is decided in the fourth quarter,I goota go with one QB over the other,so...

This has blowout written all over it, Jets surprised and got to 5-2 but have not recovered or stabilized since the loss of Breece Hall

Bills want to continue to roll and send a message this is their year.

21-3 at half time. Jets get a TD early in the third, chase points and get the conversion. Then Bills pull away for good and rest starters in the 4th quarter, again.
 
This is a Super Bowl contender against a team where everyone wants to be traded or pass the buck.

So much can go wrong with one ACL injury.

This is looking very prescient so far. Jets are gaining a lot of extra yards in those areas where Milano does such a great job of shutting things down sideline to sideline.

Agreed. He is not stepping into things.

CBS showing an awful angle and then not replaying the incomplete 3rd down was frustrating though. Couldn’t tell if the pass was off, if the defender got a hand in, or Davis just dropped it. Kind of looked like Davis just didn’t catch it to me on first view.
