**Bills at Jets** (+10.5) (45.5) (1 Viewer)

Coaching staff set a tone of arrogance and underestimating the Jets when they had defenders inactive who could have played (White in particular) and the Bills played that way all day. A deserved loss and now they are 0-2 in the division.

The Jets NEVER win these sorts of games. They never complete that 3rd down throw to Mims. MAYBE things are changing. Obviously Buffalo was down a couple of guys but the Jets offensive game plan was excellent. Those 4 runs to start the last drive were what won this game.

Big win at home. Not really feeling the "missing guys" excuse when our major offensive player/cog is gone for the year. We went out and acquired a guy that brought it home on that last drive.

Let's see how the Jets do at Buffalo. That'll go a lot towards telling you whether or not they're serious anywhere, at any time.

I'm pretty unhappy about Milano being out for this one. Sure, the Bills should win anyway, but no Hyde and no Poyer and no Milano represents a lot of star power that can't be replaced. I'm assuming here that Tre either won't play or will be a veviously I get that this is just a single game in early November and we want to be cautious and have our guys ready to play in January. I'm cool with the team being conservative with injuries at this point in the season. But we seem to make a lot of these calculated gambles against weaker opponents, and it's only a matter of time before one comes back to bite us. The Jets aren't a very good team, but they a defense that can keep them in a game, and anything can happen if it stays close late.

See?

Allen has thrown 4 of the worst picks ever the last 2 weeks. Rivaling Aaron Rodgers. I mean Bills receivers were not even in the picture. Straight to the other team. He has to wear this loss. Hope his elbow is OK

Plus Jets o-line missing 3 starters and Corey Davis out as well. Jets o-line held up relatively well despite turning to deep depth.

won the game in the end, but make no mistake, they won this game defensively. the last several years have been some of the worst defensive football i have ever seen and the jets simply didn’t have nfl talent. whitehead, gardner and reed have made this an actual defense. the LBs are not a total sieve and the DL is the strongest part of this whole group. they rush 4 and i didn’t see a blitz the entire game, this made allen somewhat ineffective, as his stats show. if you can get pressure from 3 or 4, drop into coverage and have guys with actual ball skills, good things happen. heck, whitehead shoulda had a 2nd pick.

Somebody forgot to tell the Jets that they "aren't a very good team."

I'm sort of enjoying the schadenfreude of the new kings in town whining about missing players and Josh Allen's sudden heel turn.

Hey, how about credit to a defense that's shut down a bunch of teams?

If anyone has updates on josh Allen, i sure would like to know if that injury was just a stinger or if his arm is going to have lingering effects the next 2-3-4-ROS
I hope the kid is OK, it's not good for the league and fans if he misses time.

Incredible win by the J-E-T-S today

Sauce Gardner is going to be in many Dolphins nightmares over the coming years
That Son of a Mother's Biscuit is one badass DB

Bro, the Bills were without their entire starting secondary, their best linebacker, their starting RT and their starting CBs from today all got hurt during the game. The Bills play a base nickel defense so missing those guys made a huge difference in both their pass and run defense.

But you’re right, the Bills still should have been the better team and still should have won the game, but the Jets played like they wanted it more and Buffalo played like garbage. The Jets earned the win and ultimately that’s all that matters. Being the “better team” on paper doesn’t mean a whole lot because what matters is what happens on the field and the Jets looked like they wanted it and Buffalo looked like they thought they could earn a win simply by showing up.

We’ll see how it all pans out by the end of the year, but if the Bills don’t get their act together, being Super Bowl favorites won’t mean a thing.

Bro, the Jets were without either starting offensive tackle, one gone for the year and one on IR; their best right guard, out for the year; their best running back by far is out for the year; and their most prolific and experienced WR didn't play, either. We had our starting CBs.

C'mon. This is winery stuff.

Yeah, while I recognize that the Bills were missing guys, the Jets are without the centerpiece of their offense and their first FOUR choices for starting RT (Becton, Fant, AVT and Mitchell). They're literally playing a guy that snagged off the scrap heap.

It's not like Buffalo's missing guys on defense gave up even thirty points, either. The Jets managed twenty. This was about the Jets and their defense winning the game.
