Carolina Panthers Released linebacker Brandon Short.

Kansas City Chiefs Released linebackers Shawn Barber and Gary Stills and cornerbacks Eric Warfield and Dexter McCleon.

Green Bay Packers Released linebacker Na'il Diggs and punter Ryan Dutton.

Seattle Seahawks Released linebacker Jamie Sharper and cornerbacks Andre Dyson and Michael Harden.

Dallas Cowboys Released defensive tackle La'Roi Glover; placed linebacker Dat Nguyen on the reserve/retired list.

I thought we were supposed to see some big names released & a lot of movement. While there are some names here that can help some teams, this is hardly the bloodletting release of huge talent that we were lead to believe would be happening.

So what happened, anyhow? Much more of a yawn than an eye opener here.

 
I guess you have been in a closet and missed that the deadline was extended until 6 pm Sunday and that negotiations have been going on all day today to iron out a new CBA.

And the players that were cut can be reinstated, so no transactions from the past few days should be considered final.
