These aren't bold IMHO.

Culpepper gets benched week 12
:loco: Well, it is bold. Anyway...

AFC West is the toughest division in football

Redskins = playoffs

Kyle Boller is mentioned as a possible pro bowler, worth of consideration but doesn't get in (Palmer, Manning, Leftwich and Green make that impossible)

Titans have a better record than the Steelers

Kelly Holcomb starts by week 6

Patriots 2nd in the division, still get in as a wild card, and Brady loses his first playoff game (to the Chiefs)

MVP: Michael Vick

ROY: Mark Clayton

DMVP: Jonathan Vilma

DROY: Thomas Davis

Do you mean Mark Clayton for ROY or Michael for Soph of the year?

The Chicago Bears, led by a stellar defense with such players as Brian Urlacher, Adawale Ogunleye, Tommie Harris, Alex Brown, Lance Briggs, Charles Tillman, Jerry Azumah, and Mike Brown (yes, all on 1 defense!), and an improved offense will make the playoffs with at least a 10-6 record.Rex Grossman obviously needs to stay heatlhy for this to happen, but this year he has some talent around him offensively with Cedric Benson/Thomas Jones at RB, a veteran OL, and Muhammed at WR.

Joey Harrington becomes a top 10 fantasy QB and the Lions win the NFC North

JJ Arrington is rookie of the year, followed closely by Mike Williams

Eric Shelton leads the Panthers in rushing this year

The Patriots do NOT make it to the AFC Championship. The Bengals DO.

Chad Johnson makes a push towards Marvin Harrison's 143 Receptions from 2002.

Steve Smith reminds us all how great he was prior to the injury, emerging as a top 5 WR in fantasy.

Najeh Davenport takes over for an injured Ahman Green and has a breakout season.

Fred Taylor proves the skeptics wrong and has another solid season.

Washington's defense holds teams to 13 points a game. Their offense scores 10.

First coach fired is Jim Haslet. I've said this for 3 years in a row.

Michael Bennett puts up 1,400 yards and becomes as great a game breaking threat since Robert Smith.

Jeramy Stevens finally lives up to potential and challenges the elite TE's this year.

Larry Johnson becomes the man in KC - diapers are off by week 5.

Ben Rothlesberger will struggle hard this seasona while the Steelers fall back to the pack.

Rex Grossman becomes a huge draft day bargain.

Brett Farve becomes a huge draft day bust.

Sincerely...the guy that brought you this thread in 2004!

Miami makes the playoffs

Charlie Frye starts by week 6.

Colin
Didn't think the first news out of camp was all that good on Frye? Maybe I am just making things up but I swear I heard that.

Eric Johnson leads the team in recpetions, yards, and TD's.
I thought this was a given?Anyhoo, let's see...

Browns have a 1000 yard rusher. (Barely.)

Harrington blows up.

Mason has a pretty good season.

None of the rookie WRs sniff 600 yds. (OK, maybe not so bold.)

You probably read the blurb around the time they went out and got Doug Johnson because they didn't think Frye was ready to be #2 this year. I don't think Frye will start before week 12.

One I feel is a stone cold lock but the boards will probably view as Bold...Ashley Lelie will score fewer fantasy points per game this year than last season

Note to CQ: Burn league entry-fee rather then letting opponents get it in December.

rams go 13-3, bulger throws for 5,000 yards & league MVP, they win super bowl spearheaded by surprisingly stout defense & effective ST.tatum bell plays in all 16 games & takes a run at eric dickerson's single season rushing record of 2,100+ yards.larry fitzgerald gets 13+ TDs.joey harrington throws for 4,000+ yards & 30+ TDs & leads lions to playoffs... julius jones & deshaun foster are 1-2 in nfc rushing with 1,500+ yards.DEN & CIN both finish with better record than NE in '05.rookie LBs & georgia teammates odell thurman & david pollack help CIN to a top 15 finish in run defense. lemar marshall starts wire-to-wire as WAS MLB & has a top 15 finish in tackles.rookie SS/OLB thomas davis has 90+ tackles... lofa tatupu is voted DROY, however.roy williams gets 90+ tackles & at least 3 sacks & FFs, but gets aced out for defensive POY when julius peppers breaks michael strahan's season sack record.mcgahee has 20+ TDs & 1,500+ yards as he regains his reputed sub-4.4 speed.wisconsin alumni chris chambers & lee evans are edged out for afc receiving TD lead with 14 each... chad johnson has 15.donte stallworth has 1,100 yards & 9 TDs.

The insanity defense wouldn't hold up for expecting Culpepper to be benched. Clearly tainted meth at work there.Let me try one...the Packers relocate to LA and the Bears move two of their road games to Green Bay. Ohhhh...this is fun, how about another. Winslow wins comeback player of the year.

Gore beats out Barlow in training Camp.

Foster injures something in the pre-season; Shelton takes over & Carolina has their new man.

The Lions offense clicks (& stays healthy). Harrington achieves top 10.

Shelton is ROY.

Matt Jones is 2005 hype and a steal for 2006.

CuMar finishes top 5.

Most important, but not really bold:

STEELERS WIN THE SUPER BOWL!

:towelwave: :towelwave: :towelwave:

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!

You ask for bold, you get bold:LaMont Jordan, running behind a young but training-camp-gelled O-line, and through lanes widened by the presence of Moss and Porter, cracks into the top 8 RBs.Like the storied Phoenix, Kurt Warner rises into the top 15, regaining the youthful vigor he had while stocking cans on grocery shelves.Derrick Blaylock has a career year starting in place of an injured Curtis Martin. As does Anthony Thomas, subbing in for Julius Jones. J.P. Losmon helps the Bills storm into the playoffs, only to lose to the Bengals in the Divisionals.Eric Johnson cracks into the Top 5 TEJason Hansen becomes the #1 FF PK.

Miami makes the playoffs

Brian Griese is a top-5 QB in fantasy football.

Travis Henry has 2x as many carries as C. Brown

Charlie Frye starts by week 6.

Joey Harrington gets benched before Halloween.

like 'em all but Griese...that's just kooky talk.

like 'em all but Griese...that's just kooky talk.
I don't think it's crazy at all. You've got a very QB-friendly system that throws the ball a ton, and Griese has developed excellent chemistry with a stud-in-the-making in Clayton and a decent (when healthy) vet in Galloway.Add in a likely improved running game with Caddy and you may have a potential recipe for considerable success.

Say what you want about Griese's checkered past, but when he keeps his head on straight, he can put up very solid numbers.

1. Larry Johnson has more fantasy points than Priest Holmes2. The Lions win the NFC NORTH3. Dallas makes the playoffs....not the division title4. Carnell Williams wins Rookie of the Year5. Bobby Engram finishes in the top 50.......this is big news considering FBG has him ranked at No.80.

Randy Moss gets hurt in Week 6...Oh, *bold* suggestions...Okay...Alge Crumpler is the #1 TE at year's end.Chris Brown shakes off the RBBC and runs for 1000 yards.Indianapolis finishes in the top 3 in fantasy defense.Peyton Manning finishes 3rd in points among QBs.

Chris Brown AND Travis Henry get 1,000 yards. Heck, Brown did it last year and he only played the first half of about 12 games so why not?

Patriots win 10 games or less.
Watch out for the Bengals. At least 8 wins, probably 9.
Ben Troupe is a top 7 TE / real and FF.
Adam "Mugshot" Jones doesn't sign until October.

The Chicago Bears, led by a stellar defense with such players as Brian Urlacher, Adawale Ogunleye, Tommie Harris, Alex Brown, Lance Briggs, Charles Tillman, Jerry Azumah, and Mike Brown (yes, all on 1 defense!), and an improved offense will make the playoffs with at least a 10-6 record.

Where did I say anything about Culpepper being benched ????The Bears have a good defense as we stand today...agree ?

The Bears offense sucked last season - but they have upgraded it with Muhammed, and potentially Benson...agree ?

The Bears don't need a 30 PPG offense - it's still going to have it's ups and downs, but with a healthy defense (last year it was still a solid defense despite it's 3 best players injured for most of the season - Brian Urlacher, Mike Brown and Adawale Ogunleye) this defense can become one of the league's best.

The Miami Dolphins lead by G Ferrote = 2004 SD Chargers. R Williams rushes for 450 yards, while R Brown rushes for nearly 1100.

Chicago finishes 8-8, Muhamad leads the league in targets w/ 170 on the way to his 2nd straight pro-bowl.

Minnesota wins only 5 games, Culpepper gets benched week 12 after the team has only won 3 games by this point. M Tice is fired week 15.

New Orleans wins their division, lead by Deuce's 2200 all purpose yards and 18 TD's.

Drew Breese is benched for Philip Rivers week 14 after he throws more INTs than Td's and the Team is in last place in thier division.

D Carr leads the NFL in passer rating.

R Curry outperforms J Porter. L Jordan dissapoints. Raiders finish 7-9.

Alex Smith throws for 20 Td's and 16 Int's as the Niners finish 6-10. Eric Johnson leads the team in recpetions, yards, and TD's.

The Patriots finish 9-7, but miss out on the playoffs.

The Cowboys finish 8-8, J Witten = 2004 A Gates

Im liking my predictiions on Miami, Culpepper, New Orleans, Sand Diego, and T Bell!!

2. The Lions win the NFC NORTH

3. Dallas makes the playoffs....not the division title

4. Carnell Williams wins Rookie of the Year

5. Bobby Engram finishes in the top 50.......this is big news considering FBG has him ranked at No.80.
I like these predictions the most after week 1.

So maybe I'm not psychic but Im loving my Dolphins, New Orleans, and Minnesota predictions. CULPEPPER's stats so far 4 TD's, 10 INT's passing, with 74 yards rushing 1td and 4 fumbles, with a 67.2 passer rating! Oh yeah and it looks like Mike Tice is out the door, and Alex Smith is the starter in SF again.

You'd have think at least ONE of these predictions would have come true. Not knocking the original poster at all - you have to be sorta proud that these predictions were so far off the mark.

Oh, *bold* suggestions...

Okay...

Alge Crumpler is the #1 TE at year's end.

Chris Brown shakes off the RBBC and runs for 1000 yards.
