Bored Upgrade - discussion (1 Viewer)

Just getting on so excuse me if already addressed...is their a mobile version? This one pretty much sucks on a smart phone.

:( forums still broke on my kindle fire. . Tried different browsers, "regular " http instead of https and tried directly from football guys main site.. same "error web page cannot be displayed " :kicksrock:

 
No idea if it was available on old board, but thanks for the Custom Sort option   :thumbup:

Edit: Is there a way to keep this "Custom Sort" intact? So we're not having to sort each and every time we enter/leave a thread?

I don't like having pictures at all. I've noticed that in discussion forums that have pictures, the pictures take over, and there is far less intelligent back and forth. Some people might like that; I hate it.  If the pictures start to dominate here I won't be around very long. If some of you were looking for a way to get rid of me, this might be it. 

I also don't like the shorter pages, and not being able to see who is reading a thread. I can't really find any positives out of this upgrade so far. Just one opinion.

Need to compress mobile. I got the compressed version of all the topics but once in a thread it's one post

Yeah it cant be done now.

And dont accidentally quote the wrong post on mobile...theres no way to undo it and quote a different post. Aggravating.

 
In your settings, you can choose Activity>My Activity Streams> Content I Posted In

That will show you the "ireplied" page I think.

 
I personally like the public not knowing what thread I'm in.  Pictures would be nice but it won't be a week before somebody does something to warrant them being removed outright.

I think the happy medium is to force all image into spoiler tags.  Gives you the option, plus it fixes the image size issue.

Although there definitely needs to be an image size limit.  They know all this though. :P
