:lol:  I never said anything bad about this show. I think it looks like it could be funny. 

I'm just saying imagine it was the other way around. And you of all people would be on the front lines of the outrage.

Imagine, if you will, a nation where all the wealth is controlled by 1% of the people, and they've convinced half the remaining 99% to fight to keep it that way. 

 
There's a lot of hyperbole surrounding the election of Donald Trump and the whole Trump phenomenon, but one trend that I believe really paved the way for his election is that, at some point in the past 10 years or so, it became normal for middle class white men to become whiners and play the victim card. Its remarkable how Trump has capitalized on that, to the point that I think his supporters admire the way he shamelessly whines about how bad he is treated, and all the advantages others have, particularly minorities. Its really incredible to see blue collar white men acting like prisoners who've been released from confinement of having to act like their grandfathers - men who for the most part would pull their boots on each day and just get to work, never complain about their lot in life. Trump has given them license to whine about all the unfairness and mistreatment they suffer, like the perceived double standard in television sitcom plotlines.

I don't subscribe to their service currently.  And I was not planning too.  Can I boycott or do I need to subscribe first and then boycott?  Maybe I will just take their free 30 day offer and then cancel.  That will show them!  :rant:

 
My boycott of Netflix started after I watched like the 3rd episode of "Stranger Things".  I also stopped talking to all of the goons who told me it was great.

 
If I don't like a movie,  I won't watch it--simple as that. I love Netflix. I am not going to cut off my nose to spite my face, just because there is one movie offered on there.

I tried Netflix several years ago on the 30 day trial but didn't renew.  I used more of the dvd mailer than the streaming, IIRC.  Maybe I'll give it another try some day.

All kidding aside---I bought the Blu Ray and it is still sitting wrapped by my tv. I held off watching it because my 12 year old daughter said she wanted to watch the originals to get the back story. So I went and bought all of the Blu-rays. She got through one and a half of them and lost interest. I just haven't opened it yet. :bag:

 
the fakest of all possible outrage... it's almost like that infant child that doesn't want to play with a certain toy until another baby is playing with it.
