These are two QBs that are on WW in most leagues that I think could provide serious value down the stretch. I feel like Bradford has the higher ceiling for the rest of the season but would be interested to hear how people think his potential compares to Carson's.
I'm curious about this too, as it's basically the decision I need to make with Newton on bye. I could see Palmer getting a ton of pass attempts because the defense will keep getting him the ball back. Though I could also see the Raiders just trying to grind it out with McFadden (or Bush if he can't go). It's too bad Bradford won't be at full health, because this is a pretty favorable matchup. Arizona can definitely be passed on, plus Kolb's out, which means the StL offense should get plenty of possessions.
2010 TD/INT ratioalmer-26/20, Bradford-19/15.. neither great but 1 was a rookie, with no real WRs, and a much worse def. fwiwBradford easily. Palmer is getting too much hype for a guy that wasnt playing very well in the end for CIN.. let alone having so much time away from the game. While Bradford (once fully healthy) finally has a reliable go to WR, and a healthy SJax.. I know Bradford hasnt been setting the world on fire but comparing him to Palmer..? Im not sure how much SOS matters here but Ill add that STL has more favorable matchups going fwd.
