Brady Quinn selling house (1 Viewer)

Funny.

The Raiders and the Rams have to have some interest to name a couple although the Rams seem to have Bradford on their radar. I think they may have a full time scout shadowing him.

How much would it cost to make Jamarcus go away and start fresh with Quinn?

Are the Bucs sold on Johnson? Miami on Henne?

I have to think the kid is getting a strong vibe to put his house up for sale. That's not a small thing.

I don't believe any teams in the market for a QB would put him back on the fantasy radar. The only team I can see him having some success is the Redskins, only because they have some legit weapons like S.Moss, Cooley. If he goes anywhere else, same horrific numbers.

Only options to me: Rams, Redskins, Raiders, Bucs.

To be honest I think the only team that would trade for him right now is the Redskins.. they have Campbell, and by the looks on the sideline that he's getting from Zorn.. him on the trading block wouldn't be far fetched either. I can see the Redskins giving Campbell and like a 4th-5th rounder.

Well, I wasn't thinking fantasy radar really. Just a few really hard up teams that could start building around a young talent. You brought up the Skins and I hadn't thought of them. If Gruden lands there I couldn't see him continuing with the Campbell plan. He is destined to be one of the best backups in the league to me, but not a starter. Just a matter of when and who.Honestly, a few teams just can't draft a QB to save their life (I'm looking at you Chicago) and would be far better to give up a couple of picks for a talented guy. FTR, I believe the Bears did very well to just trade for Cutler so Chi fans can save the flames.

Yeah, I think it has to be the Skins. They are one of the only teams that would make a move like this and it actually makes some sense. They are dying to be a WC offense. Campbell is not a WC QB. Quinn can be. The Skins have no one to bench Campbell for - 37 year old Todd Collins is not the future, and Brennan is on IR. I would guess 4th straight up for Quinn.

If I were Carolina I would jump at this for J. Stewart. and get Brady and a late rounder maybe or even straight deal. Put him with 2 receivers that can run routes, a slightly better o-line and he is gonna be good, at least better than Delhomme. Jake simply blows.....

Redskins are gonna change HC's and they will not trade for a QB. The new guy will get that pick and given the list of names out there it will be a 'miss' like Quinn.

what in Brady Quinn's career has he done to every make you think he is going to be a solid quarterback? He is accurate under 10 yards but anything above that and its a crap shoot. Also, the browns have a serviceable offensive line yet Quinn has been putrid. Giving up J. Stewart would bnee WAY TOO MUCH for a qb who seems to have a minimal shot at being a cornerstone player.

This reminded me of those reports last year of Bill Cowher buying a house in Strongsville.

In other words, non-story.

Terrell Owens to Cleveland for Brady Quinn would be nice. At least we'd get a kid with talent at QB (and yes I still believe Quinn has what it takes, unlike Edwards). How did that offense do with Derek Anderson there against the 29th ranked defense? 2-17 for 23 yards. I think it's time we realize that it wasn't all Quinn's fault. Buffalo please!

Minnesota for Tarvaris Jackson. Groomed to be the successor to Favre. Chilly will have him throwing those 3 yard passes like a pro.

Al Davis has no interest in QBs with weak arms. If he did, Oakland would have had a good QB before now.

Whoever trades for Quinn isnt trading for him to help their team this year. A lot of teams could use a QB including Minnesota, Buffalo, San Fran, Denver and Tennessee.

What would the Browns want with a 30-something multi-million dollar receiver in the last year of his contract?

The Redskins want to acquire draft picks, not trade them. They're shopping a d-lineman now (Montgomery) for trade. Any QB besides Campbell would get killed just as badly behind their o-line, so they won't trade for a QB now. More likely trying to acquire draft picks or some semblance of an o-lineman in trade.

Plus, once Zorn goes, who knows what kind of offense they'll run?

Carolina makes the most sense for me. Assuming it is for something like a 5th or 6th. Quinn seems like the type of QB Cowher likes.

What teams have the Brown's had a history of making trades with?

Seattle

NY Jets

Tampa

49ers

I would look to these teams to be the first 4 called (jets prolly not, im not pointing out needs). It's about owner relationships and GM relationships to get a trade done. It isn't always about who needs the guy.

Why would Carolina give up a player who has actually shown he can be good to get a guy who hasn't shown much yet? I can see a lower round draft pick for him, but Stewart? Not a chance. Nevermind that 2010 is DeAngelo's last year on contract.

This poster seemed to have a pulse on Bradford long before Schefter and the other talking heads did.
