I couldn't have written that any better! With the Jets playing the Pats next week for their home opener this completely changes the complexion of the AFC East and makes the Jets the class of the division!

Would that not be a story for the ages? I think you are on to something, I think it certainly opens the door for them to beat the Patriots out of the division title and to move on. There are a couple of other pretty good AFC teams to beat out in the playoffs (Chargers and Colts for instance) and likely facing Dallas in the Super Bowl will be tough as well. But yea, the chances go way up with a Brady injury... if he is out for the year then I think the Jets become the favorite in the division.
