What the ####### ####. I just got 85 points put up on my by Rodgers and Jordy. This is when I hate fantasy... it just seems absurd.

 
Middle of the pack in total points but lead the league (as usual). You MUST have consistency on your team. We play a dynasty auction.

 
So I made my confidence picks using my tablet, picked all the teams and tiebreakers, FORGOT TO ACTUAL SET THE CONFIDENCE VALUES :wall:

 
Amazing I played against Shonn Greene in 4 of my 8 leagues and will likely be the 2nd highest scoring team in 3 leagues and lose. My worst week of the season easily. Here's to a rebound in week 7.

So I got it within 16 pts last night with my Mathews vs his Floyd tonight. Not likely but heck ya never know...until the Texans get a blocked punt TD in the final minutes of a blowout and now Im down by 23 again :wall:
 
Last week, played against Julio, Gonzalez, Wayne, Luck, and P Manning.

This week, played against AJ Green, Dez, James Jones, Rudolph, and Stafford.

Hard to win when you're opponent is killing it every week. 3 of out 6 weeks played the top scorer, this week will likely be the 2nd highest scorer of the week.

 
So here is the ultimate beat down - team I am playing has Brees on the bench due to bye - so they start Dalton, Shonne Green, CJ Spiller, Dez Bryant, James Jones, AJ Green, Bironas...just on offense they score 130 points. IDPs also played well and they set the all time scoring record against me...168 points (in a league where the scoring average is around 90). I need 14 points tonight out of Matthews and Gates to avoid losing by a hundy.

 
Traded for Ray Lewis in an auction league on Saturday to shore up my LB core after a solid 5-0 start. Now 5-1 after playing the team with Rodgers, Greene, AJ Green and Jordy.

:goodposting: Beat me in 2 leagues. Gates has no TDs all year. I knew I was dead because of that. Man do I hate fantasy. A few points off the league lead in points in one league and of course I am 3-3 and in another I have about 100 points more than another guy in my division and was the #1 scoring team before this week (not sure if I will be after) and of course he is now 5-1 and I am 4-2. Somehow he plays guys who leave injured players (declared out before the weekend) and players on byes. So, some actual non-sleeping management of teams and I am still leading my division. Of course, I lose to one of those teams this week and play the other next week. I am sure I will lose both when I would have beaten both easily if I played the other schedule.Just sucks when every move you make appears to be solid according to all the rankings and none work and you see someone in your division forced to start Greene this week due to bye weeks and gets almost 40 points out of him after riding the pine all year.
 
By the way, is there some sort of voodoo God I need to pray to in order to get lucky one year. Always close to the top in points scored, yet I never get lucky and play the worst team the week my team has an off week. When I have great weeks, I win huge and don't need the extra points or I happen to play the only team that can beat me. When I have bad weeks, I never, ever, ever play the couple teams I could have beaten. I always play the team who I would have beaten any other week I play them.

Man, I enjoy FF, but sometimes I wonder if the frustration is worth it. I tend to make the playoffs most times, but too many times I am the "wild card" team due to having the most points with a not great record or there is another "lucky" team with one more win that gets the bye.

OK, rant over, but man do I have a love hate relationship with this stupid FF.

 
Down by 6 with Tamme and Denver D to go against their Matthews and I pull it off thanks to two defensive TDs, against the first place 5-0 team... heck yeah!!!

Drafted him in 3 of my 4 leagues, Julio in 2 of them as well and it cost me this week, but still feeling great about it overall. 1-3 this week. :wall:

But 16-8 overall(all teams 4-2). I'm satisfied with that. :)

Was somehow able to land Aaron Hernandez for Vick Ballard on Friday to the guy who owns Benson, D.Brown, Hillis and Greene. In his defense, he missed the draft and desperately needs to win his next few games since he's winless.

Was holding off P. Manning and D. Thomas with R. Mathews and a decent lead going into 2nd half of tonight's game.

2-4 here I come. :(

 
Wow I lost a game on the final play was up 26 points vs Den DF going in and they had 25 pts before the final play just throw it incomplete Rivers.....

Also lost a game 147-146 because I had Rivers and that SD WR dropped the ball with 1 min to go on that bomb......

Not bitter though

 
UP 30 other person had Rivers (6pt. per pass TD), Matthews, and Floyd. Only up 10 at half and I pulled it out. WOW. Goodbye L2.. hello W1. :banned:

I'll see your desperation and raise you a factor of ten (plus sprinkle in some stupidity).Brees is off this week so I dropped Cassel for Hasselbeck in TimLeague. Only I didn't get him into my lineup before Thursday's game. Best available QB on waivers was Collin Kapernick. Oh yeah, I also had to start LaRod Steven-howling because I drafted steaming poo at RB.Fortunately for me, this is the one week Shonn Greene decides to pretend he's an NFL-caliber RB.
 
Decker trips at the 40 and doesn't get the easy TD, should have been 10 more points.

I lost my match by 8.5

 
Was down by 3 points in a 1PPR with 430 left to play. Broncos run on 1st and 2nd down. On 3rd and 6 Peyton throws deep left to Decker for 35 yards (would have won me the game) but the worst offensive PI in league history was called. Such is fantasy.

No kidding. I was similarly dismayed when I opened up the Injury thread and all it had in it was boring posts about injuries.And since you asked, up by 51 on Sunday afternoon in a $100 Yahoo league, opponent only had Jordy and Peyton left. Lost by 2. Doh.

I am in the same boat. Smith hasn't thrown much besides dump offs & he did look good when he blitzed a few times. Hopefully he will make a few more plays before the night is up.

Too bad we are in the same boat. Look at this slop (all highly ranked): Week 1 - Berry 2Week 2 - McCourty 4.3Week 3 - Ward 6.5Week 4 - Ward 3Week 5 - G. Wilson 6Week 6 - Burnett 4.5Not a single turnover yet this season
 
Vernon ####### Davis.

I think he is on my bench from now on, since apparently the 49ers have no interest in getting him the ball. I've avoided starting Kyle Rudolph since I already have Harvin and hate using two skill players from the same team. I have no choice anymore though. Three out of four weeks where he has killed me now.

These last two hurt alot. Just the type of #### where he will go off as soon as you bench him thoughFF sucks!

Yeah, next week on MNF, its almost a lock that he puts up 6/98/1Td on you if you sit him now.I guess Vernon Davis is the best "NON-Matchup-proof" TE. He's great and can come up big but there are just games that you look at and think "I just don't see how the Niners are going to dictate getting him the ball". Of course, you would never even think that with Gronk, Graham, and guys like that.

According to FBG rankings for this week, I have top 4 QB, 3 of top 12 RB, 3 of top 12 WR, and the #1 TE. I post because this brag could turn into a grieve really quick.

 
In one league missing McCoy, McGahee, Malcom Floyd, Roddy White and Jimmy Graham.

Guessing this will be a L.

 
Just realized that in the 3 or 4 times I submitted my lineup this week, flipping back and forth between Wright and Finley, that every time I FORGOT TO PUT CAM NEWTON BACK IN AT QB FOR TEBOW!!
