It is becoming more and more apparent that fanstasy has passed my by - time to take up Pinochle or whatever else old people do.
Week 1 - come out of the box strong with a win.
Week 2 - overthink things and play Cutler over Vick, pick up Stephen Hill and insert him in the lineup - wind up with my lowest scoring output in my 20 year lleague history...oh well just one loss
Week 3 - chase Amendola and put him in the lineup (no-existent), go back to Vick and get burned, bench McFadden and get burned...score only 6 more points than the prvious week - am now running away with low points scored on the year.
Week 4 - well I'll be clever and pick up Tucker and Pitta for a good start to the week...Pitta 0, Tucker 5....lordy be - looks like a 1-3 start.
Pinochle anyone?

this is a 12 team non ppr redraft. I realize everyone manages their team their way and we all have our methods. but.....
A Reggie Bush owner with a losing record and #1 waiver pick, passed on Picking up either Danial Thomas or Lamar Miller off waivers. Now our waiver order rests each each based on standings so really no incentive to hold that #1 spot.
At the time RBush was questionable and not a lot info info on the knee.
This owner like many have some very droppable roster bench fodder.(IMO of course)
During the course of this waiver run Darly Richardson gets dropped. I, the new owner of Lamar Miller, send an offer to the RBush owner to give him LMiller for his #1 waiver spot ( I want DRichardson). No reply, So I figure he is not interested, fine. Waivers run and he makes no move to grab Richardson, again he is losing in the standings, RBush banged up, SJax not practicing DRichardson is a must add for him even if ir is just to see what happens to SJax. WTF, This is a money league, he is doing nothing to help himself. He claims he was unaware DThomas was even available on waivers when they are Tues.
Of course DRichardson goes to a divisional opponent of mine

This week is absolutely the WORST I can remember. Seems all my guys are either injured (May or may not play), have a bad matchup or play either Sunday night or on Monday without bailout options. I expect it to get worse as the byes hit.
