Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving... (1 Viewer)

Never envisioned my team of all-pros would stink it up all at once. This has been the worst fantasy week ever. I'd bet there were more upsets than not in the fantasy world today.

 
At least 4 TDs by my players called back by either a penalty or just couldn't get that 2nd foot in bounds = bye bye playoffs. My opponent even tried to lay down but my team decided to have it's lowest score of the season.. awesome. Glad this crap is over with until next year.

Also doesn't help that I made the wrong 50/50 choice on all 3 options.. QB, D/ST, and K.

It means nothing. I never play them. But seeing this one for Charles I felt wow...he is going to run rough shod on the putrid Oakland Raiders rush defense.

I truly hate FF now. Charles going in two leagues.....going to cost me in all likelihood.

Yes I watched Foster and Wayne get tds called back. But no excuse. My team lost because of freeman mostly. I will now be biased towards him and Tb for the foreseeable future. What a bunch of boobs

Yeah.....I hear you loud and clear. It's garbage. It is lottery time in the playoffs. Getting there every year takes skill.Winning it all takes pure luck.

I have seriously considered points leagues to eliminate the one-week-of-bad-luck that can depress you after 13 or 14 weeks of fun. My ESPN league team went 11-2 (one of the losses came the week I started Locker as a bye week fill-in and he got injured during the first series) and scored the most points. It averaged just under 100 points per game. Today? 29.7 at 6:50 eastern time. I have a couple guys still in action and will have Ridley later tonight.
 
Need a Murray TD after Rivers got me -4 and Alexander laid an egg. I'm currently on course for my lowest score of the year, after having the most total points during the regular season.

It's not going to happen, is it?

unbelievable....my opponent started Eli, I had Brees going, about a+30 point difference in my favor and I still lose thanks to Roddy White, Wayne, Danario alexander and doug martin......pathetic.

 
Unless Danario Moore does something crazy in the next 5 minutes I am in the Super Bowl. I will have won 7 of the last 8 games. Can it be 8 out of 9? :banned: :excited:

Thought it was done after they threw on the first 2 downs. OT would be nice for Murray to bump his stats.

Highest scoring team on the year, averaging about 135. Put up 70. 8 points out of 4 WRs. 8 points from 2 RBs. RG3 hurt. Third place game, here I come.

One Championship game.

Two Third place games.

One team eliminated today.

 
Wilson NYG got 7pts over Dez who I bench who got 15pts and I lose by 5pts!!! When will I learn not to listen to people who are called the "experts"? Oh, where in the hell was Charles against the horrid Oakland D and D.Thomas today? Thanks for showing up guys!!!

He has Lloyd. 5pts is a 100yd game, or a 1yd TD.

So basically I need him to not score a TD and I'm good.

That or best ball. This is getting old. Dominate a season....lose on one bad week in the playoffs to scrub teams that back in.It's a joke. I think I have been playing too long (1989) to enjoy this anymore.....no more multiple leagues.....it's over. The game and landscape of FF and the NFL in general has drastically changed over the last 3 years. I don't even enjoy the NFL much anymore to begin with. Glad I am not alone this weekend. Wow what a rough weekend.But things could be far worse. This is just nonsense compared to what happened Friday.

I'm in a redraft with a large points winner payout, and my team is running hot and well within striking distance. I started DX, Mathews, Ray Rice. Yay.Steve Johnson on the bench. Demarco Murray on the bench. Amendola on the bench. :thumbup:

My fantasy ship sunk tonight in 3 leagues courtesy of the Rams D/ST, Josh Freeman (in 2 leagues), Jamaal Charles (in 2 leagues), Von Miller, Daryl Washington, Luke Kuechly, Doug Martin and Josh Gordon.

Thankfully in the one league that mattered most with the biggest payout I persevered in the highest scoring playoff confrontation in the league's 4-year history and rode the Cincy defense, Shayne Graham's boot, Matt Ryan, CJ Spiller, Steve Smith, Randall Cobb and Darren Sproles to next week's championship game. I'm super-stoked! :excited:

My dreams of a 3-PEAT were shattered today thanks to the SuckFest put on by Cruz and Demaryius.

Lost by the margin of his Steve Smith and my Reggie Bush. I traded him Steve Smith for Reggie Bush 6 weeks ago.

Yes, it is nonsense compared to what happened on Friday. Best ball would not have helped me today either. It was just a massive bed crapping no show from my entire team this week, a team that dominated the regular season.

Wish I could say the same. James Jones sitting on the bench in one league...same league Antonio Brown sitting......started Colston over both of them.TARGETS!!! Colston has been getting them.....killing me. Now Welker is crapping the bed....sigh.Oh well. Whatever.Happy holidays everyone!
 
I'd been dominating with Drew Brees and RGIII in my superflex league. Then in the biggest game of the year I learn I'm going to be without Griffin. Ugh.

I lost my playoff game today by less than 2 points with Tynes as my kicker........Are you kidding me with that performance today from the Giants?? #1 kicker in my league all year puts up 0 points when I need him to just kick 1 lousy field goal..

lol I have Tynes, too. I ended up winning anyway, but midway through the Giants game I was throwing a fit. The Giants faced 4th down in FG range four times to that point - the first time, Tynes missed the FG attempt, and the next three times they went for it instead of trying the FG. :lmao:

But the 3rd league that got away last week feels like an amputated limb I can stil imagine is there. Any kind of lineup this week would have beaten any of the 4 teams who made it to the playoffs. Just my luck that my team decided to take a week off when I could least afford it. Oh well, as they say...

Main league, was 13-1, and lost the one by 1.5 pts. Will lose by 20 plus this week. Rice and Cruz did me in, just couldn't make myself bench Rice for Deangelo Williams.

 
Looks like I'll be making the championship game in 3 out of 7 of my leagues. One team is a rebuild, while I lost the other last week. The two I lost this week were just cases of bad luck. In one, we had a waiver lockout a few weeks back, and I only kept one kicker, Robbie Gould, who was placed on or. The other, I lost because he started Crabtree and Wilson...nothing you can do about that.

 
8 teams this year. 6 made the playoffs. Advancing to the championship in 3 of those leagues. Already in the championship game in 1.

My 11-2 team was eliminated thanks to facing the freak known as Adrian Peterson. My last playoff team lost by 3 points. A Tom Brady garbage time TD would have won it. Or Hakeem Nicks being on the bench instead of Michael Crabtree. Or not facing Adrian Peterson again. :wall:

 
Super Bowl in one of my leagues! First ever in 4 years. And a halfway decent chance in my other league (have 5 guys going Monday night).....woohoo!
