Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving... (1 Viewer)

My first 4 picks get hurt (rice, sjax, lacy, andre) and somehow im still up 1 going into last nights game. My opponent has lynch, i have kaepernick and cincy def. i thought my chances were great

Lost 212 to 192 in my auction keeper league.

I would have won if V Jax 73 Yd TD wouldn't have come back due an F'n illegal formation penalty. I was starting Freeman as a QB2 in a flex (thought TB would need to sling the ball around to keep up with NO), so I lost 16 points from Jackson and 8 points from Freeman on that play alone.

Ray Rice--been kinda meh & losing touches to Pierce, then leaves with hip injury

Ridley--ball handling issues continue & totally reliant on getting GL touches

Lacy--likely on his way to big game; knocked out by that POS Merriweather

Vernon Davis--sure, why not? Might as well have an injury too

Romo--not "terrible" but something seems off in that offense

Just lost by 3 points.

Kaep had 4 turnovers. (-8 points)

Bullock missed 3 FG (-6 points)

Vincent Jackson had a 73 yard TD reception called back in an illegal formation penalty. (15 point swing due to long TD bonus)

That's 29 points lost. The Jackson TD stings the most.
Didn't know about the Jackson TD being called back. That helped me win the one game I will win this week. Felt great about my teams last week going 3-0 and then they crapped the bed this week and I luckily pulled out one game.

That said, I had Kaep in one league where I "had" a chance, also a -2 turnover (my only one that high). I had Bullock in another league where I need 16 points from Sanders to win, so his missed FGs would have helped. That and not putting in Pryor over Romo. I had Schaub on the bench and correctly felt Romo wouldn't do well, so instead of starting Schaub, I pick up Pryor. If I start Schaub and Bullock isn't the worst kicker ever, I already win and don't even need Sanders. Kickers killed me yesterday, 3 leagues, 6 missed FGs.

Just been an odd year already. Last week ADP couldn't help not scoring, this week they score 1 Def TD, 1 kickoff return TD, 1 passing TD and 3 short FGs all from inside the 11 yard line. Last week 3-0, pretty easy wins, this week, clawing for every point and having zillions of turnovers and missed FGs and just barely missing going 0-3.

One of my lineups yesterday:

Kaepernick

MJD

Reggie Bush

Cecil Shorts

Kenbrell Thompkins

Colston

No TDs from any skill-position players  Maybe the Bengals D can help get me about 50 points

I had vick on the bench in lieu of ELi Manning.

Still up going into tonights game by 17 but he has BJGE and Antonio Brown going. Here's to hoping for a W

Best team I ever drafted - fire off the highest score in week 1 and get a W...face the lowest projected score this week and....lose. In a span of 1 minute, Arian Foster gets the td and 2 pt conversion and Stevie Johnson catches a late td. I go from +11.5 and a win to -3 and a loss. Now I just hope Ray Rice injury doesn't linger - that would be horror on top of misery.

Arrgh. Sanders gets 1 more yard for the TD and I win. Now those damn FGs and the dumb move on Pryor are really going to cost me.

First 0-2 start in years in my main keeper league. I'm playing against a team whose only two RB's on the ROSTER are Joique Bell and...Bernard. Needed Gio to not break 13.4 tonight after the crapfest that was Kaep and the Pack DST along with the Fitz injury.

:kicksrock:

Since league inception, I've won the regular season first place and lost in the playoffs, and won the league. I'll be back. :football:

Gonna be pissed if Antonio Brown doesn't get 3.3 more points in these last 8 minutes...the refs totally screwed me by making a ridiculous phantom tripping call on a play where he had a 33 yard catch. We'll see...

Just needed 6 points from AJ Green and the Steelers defense. Not going to happen. :( I thought at the least one or the other would have to do well. Guess not.

Last play of the game, and I win!!! Weeeeeeeeee!

Up 3.3 going into tonight and facing Redman. He gets hurt on the opening kickoff and I figure I pulled out a miracle win. He comes back in and I figure I'm done. He catches a pass on the final drive and I really figure I'm done.

He scores 3.1. I win.

Yep, I knew I wouldn't get it. Loved seeing that one pass just tipped away by the CB that would have been plenty long enough and a pretty easy catch for a win. Damn 3 missed FGs, all of which get me the win, especially considering those effing timeouts and penalty that wiped out the 2 made FG by Bullock. Oh, and I could have just left the crappy Romo in and also won. Damn you David Wilson and Randy Bullock.

Nursing a lead all night facing Antonio Brown. 2 dinks in garbage time.

Improved to 2-0 in my Main Money League, top in points this week and overall. Did it with stinkers from Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice, and AJ Green. Thank you Vick & Desean!

WEEK 1: 3 - 1
WEEK 2: 2 - 2

TOTAL: 5 - 3

Three teams are: 1 - 1

One team is: 2 - 0

Undefeated roster is:

QB: RG3
WR: Calvin Johnson

WR: Andre Johnson
WR: Miles Austin
RB: Chris Johnson
RB: Darren McFadden
TE: Jimmy Graham
K: Matt Prater
DEF: Tampa Bay / Waiver Wire Pickup

I've got Ahmad Bradshaw, Tavon Austin, Rashard Mendenhall, Michael Vick, Cordarelle Patterson, and Julian Edelman on my bench. I think this particular team has a real shot at winning the Championship.

Only a $20 team, but hey, it's stacked.

Week 1, PPR league, I roster Witten at TE and Cook at Flex. They put up over 50 points between them. Came in second in the league behind the guy that has Manning, because of course I did. Week 2, I roster Witten and Cook again, they put up FIVE points between them. W...T...F...

Came in seventh in the league, dropped to fifth overall. If they had done even half the numbers they did in week 1, I'd be first in the league by a fair margin, upwards of twenty points. Yahoo is projecting me to win the league next week, but... not if Witten and Cook can't put the numbers back up.

OK, last week in 3 leagues I had 6 missed FGs for 3 kickers and tonight with Henery in 2 of those 3, another 2 missed FGs. So, over the past 2 weeks, 5 of 6 kicker slots have gotten me 8 missed FGs. It cost me 1 of my 2 losses last week, wouldn't be surprised with Bowe's crapfest if it costs me this week.

Always nice starting off the week with a goose egg from Bowe.

And thanks to FBG's suggestion to draft Bullock, I cut him for Henery this week so I'm even last in kicker points. :wall:

Outthunk myself - dropped the KC defense for this week in place of Buffalo (vs Gang Green).
Happens all the time. I liked the KC defense before the season started because they were decent at times last year and seemed healthy again. Of course, I didn't pick them up because I thought Dallas and Philly weren't the best upcoming schedule and of course they were gone. I have Buffalo in one league as a pickup as well, so that doesn't bode well for you, although, my luck hasn't been bad. I picked up Tampa week 1 in two leagues (I knew Baltimore was not a start against Denver) and Oakland and Baltimore last week in those leagues, so my defensive pickups have been good so far. Maybe the Jets and Bills have a decent defensive week this week.

Effing Bowe. Start him in a PPR and get .5 points. The guy I am playing starts McCoy and Dontari Poe. McCoy get hurt just under 100 yards and I am thinking YES! McCoy will be out second half, Bowe will get a late score and I will ginally beat my nemesis. Nope McCoy comes in off of his career threatening first hallf injury, busts out a long run for a TD...and Bowe remains invisible. Down 12 points after Thursday with Ray Rice hobbled and my WR1 (Bowe) being a turd. I hate knowing after the Thursday game that I am already facing a loss based on som einjuries at my other positions.

Rice...OUT; Lacy...OUT; Vernon Davis...gametime decision + late kickoff w/ no late alternative. I'm reduced to choosing between Pierre Thomas & Mohamed Sanu at my 2nd FLEX (we HAVE to start only 1 RB, and I feel compelled to stick w/ Ridley though I pretty much know he'll suck today). I have PT in right now, but I just know that Sanu is gonna get a ton of looks vs that porous Packers pass D. I'll start the wrong guy no matter who I choose.

Get rid of Green Bay defense to play the "vs. Cleveland" defense game and Green Bay scores, causes turnovers all in the first quarter.

Thanks, Minnesota.

Guy I'm playing against has the Panthers D. I have Vincent Jackson who is gone with an injury, Dwayne Bowe from Thursday who is basically gone completely, and Jared Cook. 1-2, how sweet it is.

Started Deangello Williams /brag
Started Hakeem Nicks /grieve
Have Jimmy Graham and Lesean Mccoy in all but one leagues /brag

This might be my lowest scoring week in any league I've ever played. Easily going to lose both my leagues but I might set the record for least points scored in a game in both of them. Coup de grace is starting Marlon Brown over Josh Gordon. Ouch.

Sat Jordan Cameron this week :wall: Browns are starting Hoyer, Gordon is back, just lost Trent, etc. etc. etc.

Julius Thomas has to have a career day to make up for my stupidity.
