Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving... (1 Viewer)

Just lost by .2 on that last Charles catch and fumble.

I had a 31.6 lead heading into the night.

The only thing I can pray is that it will be corrected into a lateral with the stat corrections later this week.

Didn't lose this week after all. I was leading by a less than three points with my opponent still having Gostkowski. Ended up winning by 0.38, hope there are not any score corrections.

 
Knile almost pulled me back but I lost because Megatron, Garcon and Paul(though he got injured) put up turds. 1-3 now.

never say never. last week i lost 83.15 to 83.05 and on tuesday am, (not sure how), but i won by .05...

so you're saying there's a chance...

 
Benched Romo for Cousins (18 point spread)....only lost by 13. Also sat Fred Jackson for Bell last week and lost by 1. 0-4 but keeping the faith!

 
Needed Vereen to stay under 16 in a league that gives 0.5/carry. He got 15.7 and I won 239.55 to 239.29.

ALMOST feel bad for the other guy. Almost.

 
Head to head is really starting to piss me off. 0-4. Running through the other 12 teams, I COULD be 4-0, 3-1 (x 4), 2-2 (x5), or 1-3. But playing my schedule was the ONLY way I'd be 0-4.

Not bragging but my team is on the flip side of that coin...4-0 but only because of the softest schedule. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

Grabbed both Donnell and McKinnon off free agency and plugged them into my lineup. I almost look like I know what I'm doing!

lost 129-133 in a non PPR. Big games from Charles, Big Ben and Murray wasted. 2nd week in a row I scored top 3 in a 12 team league and lost. I hate this game. <_<

Been on that side of the coin in the past as well...it's definitely the better side of the coin to be on. Just looking at the breakdown, and having a decent team I would expect 2-2, but 0-4 is comical.

 
Guy in FPC had his L. Bell and McCoy at RB vs my lowly Morris and Gore tamdom. I think they out scored them by 24pts. The no RB until after the 4th this year has treated me pretty good.

 
Venting:

Being in an annual league where NO ONE wants to trade or even discuss counter-offers. Teams at the bottom already just accept it and don't feel like trying to make moves, and teams at the top aren't sharking it up to improve their line-ups.

Everyone is either doesn't care or wants to make sure they r---ed the other team instead of going for an even trade that means they have to give some to get some.

 
0-5 anyone - usually Thursday night players suck. Unless they are playing me apparently. Opp starts two guys who double their projected output - Ha Ha Clinton Dix and Eddie Lacy. Might be time to quit checking my scores, this ain't getting any prettier. And to make it worse - both teams are 0-4 heading in. I am going to get routed by the other 0-4 team.

I must be in a bad stretch when I can't even be excited about my WR1 catching a 66 yd TD. Well, since that was his only catch & I am a heavy underdog this week. Yay....I'm counting on Shady McCoy with that JV o-line to pick up the slack. FML

 
Week in and week out with mega suck. What happened to this guy? The Lions are just going to run a gimpy receiver out there as a smokescreen? Brilliant!

 
Tried all week to trade Calvin to no avail. Killing us all again. Meanwhile, Terrance Williams with another great game on my bench.

 
Started Donnell and Reggie Bush.

Dropped Kendall Wright and Pierre Thomas to buy lottery tickets.

Losing, and looking like an idiot if Taliaferro, Crowell, and McKinnon all fail.

At least the Cowboys won.

 
Huge FUs to Jennings, Foster, Walker, Locker, Whitehurst, Cruz, Manning, Crosby, Texas def/st, Newton, Ball-licker, and FF in general.

 
Time to brag. It has been a pretty exciting fantasy season for me. Drafted a great team. 8 man league of course, have had ten 20+ point performances from my starters.
