Brandon Jacobs vs. Baltimore (1 Viewer)

All odds are that H.K. will finally have his 'blind-squirrel-finds-a-nut' moment this week. Brandon Jacobs may finally not look like a stud against the NFL's #1 rush defense, Baltimore Ravens.

The Ravens are only giving up 60+ yards per game this year. I'll be very interested to see how the vaunted New York rushing attack fares against the Ravens today.

Just prepare yourself for a bunch of I-told-you-so's from a certain someone who's been dead wrong all year.

H.K. yanks people's chains every year. He is probably the best fisherman to ever cast a line in the shark pool.

While I agree with what you're saying and this year has been nothing but a fishing trip, the Shark Pool is filled with members-proven-wrong who simply went over-the-top with their wrongness and turned it into a fishing trip to deflect the fact that they were clueless to begin with.

The secret's out. :hot: Guess it's back to the day job with the lot of us.

I play in a very competitive league with H.K. We have a couple-three guys who figure very prominently here. One guy, Hassely, is paid staff. We've been around for about 5 years and HK is a multiple time champ. He knows what he's doing.

He's had Brandon Jacobs and Antonio Gates as keepers that have won him crowns. For some reason he gets a kick out of saying they suck. It's a self-deprecating sense of humor.

So, he's certainly :P and just having fun. Hope this explains the mystery.

That being said, I don't think I'd start Jacobs today if I had someone else I could go to. Baltimore is where RB's go to die for a week.

It's tough, though. I could insert MJD in a TD heavy league, buy just can't bring myself to do it

I hear it's supposed to be windy in the Meadowlands today. Possible gusts of up to 35 mph.

I think Jacobs has a decent day anyway though. He did pretty well against Pitt and almost had a score.

On 2nd thought... I think the wind might make the Giants one dimensional and therefore more predictable... plus there'll be less chance of a big pass that ends up inside the ten.
