Brandon Marshall is the starter, right? (1 Viewer)

I was just looking at the latest Depth Chart info by Bob Henry and it doesn't list Brandon Marshall as a starter in Denver. The article is dated 9/3 on the site's front page, but 9/5 in the actual article itself. Either way, it's pretty recent.

So is this is a mistake or did I miss something with Marshall?

I have heard nothing saying he isn't the #2 there. After the new info you have brought forward, I am a little worried!

-- Brandon Marshall Listed as Starter --

Wed Sep 5, 2007 --from FFMastermind.com

The Denver Broncos' official website now lists Broncos WR Brandon Marshall as the starter opposite WR Javon Walker. Meanwhile, WR Brandon Stokley is listed as the No. 3 wide receiver. On September 3, Stokley was listed as the starter and Marshall as the No. 3 receiver.

Not sure but Sevlin Young is the #2 RB again according to Skeletor.

The Denver Broncos' official website now lists undrafted rookie RB Selvin Young as the No. 2 running back behind starting RB Travis Henry. Young was listed as the No. 5 running back on September 3. Meanwhile, RB Andre Hall is now listed as the No. 3 running back and RB/FB Cecil Sapp and RB/FB Mike Bell are listed as fullbacks only. Sapp is the No. 1 fullback. Bell is the No. 2 fullback, and FB Paul Smith is listed as the No. 3 fullback.

I believe Stokley had been listed ahead of Marshall on the Broncos depth chart until yesterday.

In any case, Marshall will line up at split end and Stokley will line up in the slot. They'll both play plenty. As for who will be the WR2 in a fantasy sense . . . that's an open question.

This might be a reflection of Shannie wanting one of Bell/Sapp on the field at all times.I remain unconvinced that Young = starter if Henry is hurt. I think Shannie moves one of those FBs to starting HB and Ypoung is, in reality 3rd or 4th string.

huh. I would have thought there would have been a thread on this somewhere else...

Does it really matter where someone is on the depth chart?

If a WR gets in the game and has a connection with and the confidence of the QB, he's gonna get the ball plenty no matter what the game plan was.
