I left off Ashley Lelie on purpose because I actually consider Lelie something of a push. I mean, he went for 1,000 yards, had a top-24 finish (WR2 range), and led the league in yards per catch for 3 straight years... but on the other hand, he really only had one skill, and he's now busy going Peerless Price on us all.I left Kennison off on purpose, too, because he actually became a quality WR. I don't know what would have happened if he hadn't told Shanahan he wanted to quit- for all I know, he very well might have become the next Rod Smith. Besides, neither Kennison nor Lelie really fit the profile of "really late-round WR that everyone gushes over and develops selective amnesia, completely forgetting about all the flaws that led to said WR falling so far in the draft in the first place". I suppose neither does Marcus Nash, when we get down to it, so I suppose you could omit him from the list, as well.Don't get me wrong, I *LIKE* Brandon Marshall. He's an exciting player to watch, I like the way he handles his business, I'm a fan of his attitude and his dedication, and I think there's a good chance he'll become something. I've just been fooled enough times by now that I'd much rather err on the side of caution.Riffraff said:Missing Ashley Lelie and Eddie Kennison. A valid list regardless.SSOG said:As a Denver fan, I'd be a lot more excited about Brandon Marshall if it weren't for Darius Watts, Triandos Luke, Adrian Madise, Chris Cole, Kelvin Kight, and Marcus Nash. Who are they? My point exactly.
