Breaking Bad on AMC (2 Viewers)

I'm now convinced that walt is going to deal with Gus/mike and then the series is coming full circle to a showdown with Hank. Will it take one more season or two, who knows, bit the end is going to be walt and Hank. And last nights "French connection" riff may be foreshadowing.

Great episode. I am 3 episodes short of finishing season 3. It has been strange watching season three and knowing some things that would happen from what I have seen in season 4. Still enjoyable but strange. I have three episodes left in season three.Just saw the "fly" episode. Some really good acting there.
I could never do this. Especially with this show. I don't even watch the previews for next week or the "previously on" segments.
Its not by choice. I am late to the party. I also am a library guy and I had to wait for season three to become available. I just got it Friday. This is the first time I have done something like this and I dont recommend it.

Best line was:

"Yeah you kind of are up #### creek." :lmao:

Surprised if Gus and Mike don't use Jesse's own family against him. Got to think Jesse would calm down if they threatened to kill his little brother. Pretty logical tactic that hasn't gotten a sniff yet.

That would go along with Gilligan's style. You know Jess isn't going to be offed. It has to be something that really gets Jessie's attention. Anyway that was the best episode of the season so far.

:goodposting:I think it is inevitable that the show comes down to Hank/Walt. Walt clearly reminds Hank that in the French Connection "he never catches his guy". So if you couple that with Saul telling Walt about how to completely erase himself from existance...we certainly might have seen the foreshadowing of the final episode. I would love to see a final scene with Walt and his family in some far off place and then cutting to Hank is reading (with Walt narration) a letter that Walt wrote explaining absolutely everything. Slowly you see Hank just boil into full blown Hank rage.

It may come down to Hank vs. Walt, but no matter what happens, Walt isn't going to survive to the end. I have zero doubt about that. It will probably be Hank who kills him. The next most likely cause would be Walt sacrificing himself or suicide by cop.

I mentioned this to my wife. That might be what happens.

You know another way to completely erase yourself is to be driven out into the desert and gunned down. Just sayin. If Walt did all the prep work for disappearing, why not just whack him and his family?

How about if he decides his family is better off without him and just does the disappearance thing alone. Then you cut to him getting a spitball shot at his back while he is teaching chemistry to high schoolers in Nowheresville, Alaska.

I realize I am, by nature, a little bit nuts.

But I honestly believe that if Walt sat down with Hank and said the following, Hank would look the other way:

"I need to tell you something -- I am the Heisenberg you've been chasing. I thought the cancer was going to kill me, so I panicked and did a very stupid thing to make sure my family would be taken care of. Now, they have me by the balls and I can't get out."

You could be right. However, I think now it's about Walting to outwit Hank and the DEA

You are probably right. This would be a terrible end to the series though.

I think so as well. Remember Gilligan said Hank was going to do something so awful that nobody will end up liking him. When he's talking with his lawyer you can see that he wants to solve this problem no matter what and when he was told he could get off the grid his expression was first let me think about it then no, there's got to be a better way. In his mind Hank has worked to hard to leave and thinks if everyone could just handle it like him there won't be any problems. The one bad thing about the show maybe going out another year is I wonder how much of this goes forward this year. Create a show and don't know if it's down in 2 or 3 years out is big.

"Oh and those two guys who shot you in the parking lot -- well I was in a round about way a little bit responsible for that. "And the remember the time you had the people in the RV and they would not come out. Then you got that phone call well that was me and my drug partner. Surprise!!!"

Am I confused or are you confusing Walt and Hank?

Thanks. Corrected.

I think Walt is going to kill Hank Jessie.
Fixed.

Hank would launch himself out of his wheelchair somewhere between "chasing" and "I" and start pounding Walt like he pounded Jesse.Besides, has Walt ever admitted anything to anyone without being pushed into a corner first?

Interesting that out of all Walt's problems, he hasn't even considered the cartel issue that is slowly starting to bubble up. They have his name. It's only a matter of time before they start looking for him as well.

I wouldn't mind if the writers took a few more risks.

Walt accidentally brings home some blue meth. Skyler, in a blue mood, tries it and ends up hooked.

Flynn prostitutes himself out to pay for the fancy new car he wants.

Stuff like that.

How about this angle:Hank and his wife are directly benefitting from Walt's drug money. Hypothetically Walt could somehow twist this so that it makes it look like Hank knew where the money was coming from. Hank could be on the hook as well and be forced to not turn Walt in or whatever.Just spitballing here.

These sound like ideas thrown out by Twin Peaks writers after they were forced to reveal who the killer was. "Okay, how about this? Ben has a nervous breakdown, and suddenly believes he is a Civil War general. Nadine gets hit in the head, and thinks she is back in high school. James continues to be an uberdouche."

Yeah let's not go there.

I like this line of thinking

Man, do I look forward to this show! Just over an hour away.

Try not to look at the episode description on the channel guide. It contains a spoiler I wish I hadn't seen.

Thought the music from tonight's episode was awesome. Loved it. Good episode too, IMHO. Although Walt getting liquored-up and getting Hank thinking more about the "mastermind" or genius behind the cook felt a little contrived. But hey, I suppose it keeps the plot moving along...
