Breaking Bad on AMC (2 Viewers)

Anyone know what Hank says in his opening scene when he is wearing the hazmat suit prior to raising his voice to respond to his coworker? Was he speaking or thinking to himself? I rewound it a few times and could not make it out. I need to figure out how to turn subtitles on my cable box. Right after his coworkers says to him, "go ahead and say I told you so."

JoJo's death pool:

1.01 Ted - can't have a loose end lying around

Except for a little too much Flynn, helluva start to the season.
Yeah not bad at all. I don't see Mike going along with that whole plan from what I would expect from his character, but whatever.
Remember Mike playing with his granddaughter? He's got ties to the ABQ area, just like Walt. In fact, Mike was more tied to the plan than Jessie was, as evidenced by the fact he told Jesse to split with his cash. Mike wants to stay, but he's used to the extreme cautiousness of Gus, not the impulsiveness of Walt.

Played it back five times. I got nothin. How do they let that go when making the final cut?

How hard would it be to figure out what junkyard has a crane missing the magnet?
Good to see that scrapyard owner again.Did we ever find out for sure if he took the box of raisins?
Obviously I've seen the guy before, but don't recall him on this show. What was that about? Did he come into play with the Tuco arc?
He's the junkyard owner that oversaw the destruction of the original RV Walt and Jesse used to make meth in.

...and asked Hank if he had a warrant.

Not that it matters too much at this point but in the Sepinwall review he talks about the timeline of the opening scene based on it being his 52nd birthday. If he got a new identity, don't you think they'd give him a different birthday?

I'm sure they gave him a different date.

I'm skeptical. A man never arranges his bacon numerically unless it's his actual birthday.
Yeah, but Walt is a special breed of meticulous. We're supposed to be guessing about that.

"This is a domicile. Do you have a warrant?"
This is my own private domicile and I will not be harassed, #####.

Caught up today. What a show.
but when you learn that AMC gave them no budget to run the show it makes it even better.
x 2And to compare it to Miami Vice in any way is laughable IMO.

Thinking MoP is out of his element yet again.
Actually, MOP edited his original post. I was commenting as being confused because he originally said BB has an unlimited budget. After I commented, he edited his post (w/o editing remarks minds you -- what, he's actually a mod?), by changing 'umlimited' to 'no'.... while still leaving the Miami Vice analogy there.

Great friggin episode, IMO. Many memorable scenes/lines.

Love seein Mike back.

"You know how they say 'its been a pleasure'?.....it hasn't."

"How about I describe Fort Knox. And what are YOU gonna do, are you gonna put on your black leotard and go dangling on a clothesline? Its a building full of cops, what else do you need to know, and why in the hell am I talking to you?!"

He always gets great lines, and delivers them perfectly.

Saul rules. Loved this exchange:

Saul: we got a problem

Skyler: Teds dead.

Saul: :shuked: Sorry?

Skyler: Teds is dead?

Saul: No. No, h-he just woke up.

The look on Jesses face when Joe asks "What about that stuff you young guys wear on the end of your pricks?"

:lmao:

Mike: You know, I can forseee a lot of possible outcomes to this thing, and not a single one of them invoves Miller time.

Jesse: Yeah #####! Magnets! Oh!!

Jesse and Walt in ski masks in the box truck. Hilarious. "Theres some big ### hump in the way." "Drive over it."

"Because I say so".

The writing under Gus' picture:

BANC SUISSE CAYMAN

ROUTING #37010412

KY(indistinguishable)

The while Walt-Saul scene at the end was awesome.

"I try my best, you know, ethically, in my duty"

"-Ethically? Im sorry, I must be hearing things. Did you actually just use the word ethically in a sentence? You're not Clarence Darrow, Saul. Youre a two-bit, bus bench lawyer...and you work for me."

Saul: Beg borrow or steal, I'm your huckleberry, I go the extra mile!

Walt: we're done...when I say we're done.

Did anyone else notice Aaron Paul in the Ciroc commercial?
