You guys even got ProFootballTalk.com convinced something is up:

SOMETHING'S UP WITH T.O.?

There are unsubstantiated Internet swirlings of a report from CBS-TV 11 in Dallas regarding the health of Terrell Owens.

This information is uncorroborated, but it appears on a least one message board and was e-mailed to us minutes ago.

Here's the quote: "Just reported on CBS 11 news in Dallas that T.O. was taken to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas. They said that doctors are trying to induce vomiting. They also said a Dallas Police Public Relations officer was headed over there to take care of what they called a 'high profile' case. They had no more details than that. No link as of yet either."

Again, this is all uncorroborated right now. We're checking it out. Something to do with David Hasselhoff. There is nothing on the CBS 11 web site about it, and we are searching elsewhere for more information.

Owens had surgery last week to repair a broken finger. His recovery has been progressing normally.

Thanks Grid. That's the way to post. ;)

LMAO!!! I can't stop laughing at this entire scenero. This board is like the ocean, this thread is like a bleeding animal and all of us posters are like pahranas.

Confirmed that it was on ESPN News. But appeared as if the same thread was read, and just reported. No additional info... if true, I apologize, but smells like ESPN might have been duked here. Theisman buy ESPN?

First off, I originally posted this news - and was bashed.

Second, Shick your earlier response to texasheat of "quit pissing in our pool" was uncalled for and really made me lose some respect for you. Part of what makes this forum great is having people all over the country who are tuned into the local news. Your response certainly doesn't help that.

Report: T.O. taken to emergency room, reason unknown

Written by: Associated Press ¦ 9/26/2006

Source:

DALLAS (AP) -Terrell Owens was taken to the emergency room for an undisclosed reason Tuesday night, and doctors treating the Dallas Cowboys receiver were trying to induce vomiting, according to a television report.

Owens was brought by a fire rescue crew to Baylor Medical Center, Dallas-Fort Worth television station KTVT reported, citing sources the television station did not identify. A reporter for the station later said she saw Owens being wheeled down the hall.

Calls from The Associated Press to Owens' agent, his publicist and the Cowboys were not immediately returned Tuesday night. The hospital told the AP that they do not have a patient registered by Owens' name.

KTVT said a Dallas police spokesperson was en route to the hospital to talk about a ``high profile case.''

It's really annoying that the original thread got completely deleted before we even have details on a news story on the air.

:goodposting: Whether the story was "true" or not, the bottom line is that TommyKramer was telling the truth.

Breaking: T.O. Taken To Baylor By Ambulance.

Update: 10:55 p.m.

Another breaking news segment reports having seen T.O. being wheeled down the hall of Baylor in Dallas on a gurney with tubes in his nose. At first look, there was a sheet over his face, but it was pulled away and was then obvious that it was T.O. There were also reports that both Dallas fire and police departments responded before he was brought to the hospital. Two individuals along with medical personnel were with T.O. as he was being taken down the hall, according to the segment. T.O. reportedly had an adverse reaction to some of the medicine he was taking after his surgery early last week, but no one knows if that's related.

10:43 p.m.

A disclaimer: I have no Cowboys confirmation of this.

At the end of a newscast I was just watching there was a breaking news segment reporting that Terrell Owens has been taken by ambulance to Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. There is no information about his condition except that doctors are inducing vomiting. It is not known whether or not his condition is related to his hand injury or anything associated with it.

I will do my best to keep you posted. I have a friend in the public relations department with Baylor in Plano. I called her, and she is on alert for any news.

I'm glad that someone can see that.

This'll be funny when ESPN reports that it was Terrell Bolton, instead of Terrell Owens. Who lets them report this stuff without confirmation?

CBS11 is now reporting on it.
