Did anyone here cite *anything whatsoever* that actually shows Kraft was part of the trafficking? Nope, because Kraft was charged with solicitation, not trafficking. Facts matter more than the bitter opinions of Salty Haters.
Can I accuse you of sex-trafficking without any evidence? Or maybe accuse you of being a child pornographer without any evidence? Not so nice, when you are on the receiving end, is it?

So there will be no sex trafficking charges forthcoming against the establishment Kraft used? You know that to be fact? And no, Kraft is most probably not going to be sentenced with sex trafficking since by all accounts he was just a customer. However, that does not excuse that by being a customer that he very well could be supporting sex traffickers by using potential victims for his pleasure, as can any John.

Why are you looking for citations for claims no one is making? We all know he was just a visitor to the establishment, not running it. At worst he knew (or should have known) there was likely trafficking going on and turned a blind eye towards it because he was a little "backed up".
The Pats were playing in Arrowhead so you can't blame the guy for trying to ease his anxiety a bit beforehand.

Not that I put a ton of faith in Adam Shefter's reporting lately, but earlier today he was on tv live from site of the combine. He was asked about the climate there based on the current Kraft situation. I was surprised that he indicated that a lot of folks thought that Kraft was going to ultimately beat the charges (if not get them dropped). There didn't see to be much outrage and he seemed to indicate that most of the people he spoke with felt more bad for Kraft than things being an eyesore for the league.

Yep any1 who pays for sex could be supporting human trafficking, just like any1 who illegally buys a bag of weed supports the drug cartels and people who buy iphones and nikes "support" child slave labor.
Old man did something stupid and the right and just punishment is a decent man will have to live the rest of his life with the shame. If there is any good that might come out of it it is shining light on a serious issue that will result in more money (especially from kraft) and effort going to combat what is really a horrendous practice.

His position was ludicrous in the first placw though. He’s arguing against Kraft being involved in the trafficking aspect of the case - which no one has said. He also said the police contradicted themselves which was an “interesting” take based on the quote he posted. I’m other words he’s being a blind homer and defending Kraft simply because he owns his favorite team. What the guy did isn’t the end of the world of course, but just admit it’s a bit creepy and was a poor choice for a billionaire and move on.
Um, someone on this thread strongly hinted that Kraft could be involved in the sex-trafficking. By comparing Kraft, a billionaire buddy to Trump, to another one of Trump's rich buddies who actually was trafficking.

Maybe you are a blind homer to cops who are trying to get more overtime hours/police funding to fight the "epidemic" of sex-trafficking in Florida. And by epidemic, I mean 57 cases in 2017. Of which around 48 were sex-trafficking. (Compare that to about 600,000 crimes in Florida total.)

Actually, the Hit and Run blog wins awards for reporting excellence, gets its regular contributors hired at longer-form, serious papers, and generally does a good job with the rapid turnaround expected of it.
It certainly has a libertarian slant but it has been responsible for skepticism regarding both the Duke and UVA rape cases and police brutality cases across the nation. Elizabeth Nolan Brown has been on the sex work beat for them for about five years and deserved to have her initial impressions and voice heard without condescension.

What is ironic is that not one example of irony in Alannis Morrisette's song is actually irony. Raining on your wedding day is not ironic. A man being 98 and winning the lottery and dying the next day, not ironic. A black fly in your Chardonnay, not ironic. Getting a pardon 2 minutes after being executed, not ironic. Being scared of flying and then flying and crashing, maybe a little bit ironic. Bad luck and/or coincidence is not irony. And sexual assault has nothing in common with soliciting a prostitute. Literally nothing.

Kraft's franchise signed AB, now all his business is being brought back up again. Other owners have to realize signing AB will (eventually) result in them getting some mud on them.
As far as Kraft's 'miscue'...I just don't have an issue with him participating in something that should be legal anyway. The initial headlines revolved around some serious allegations that were apparently false and/or made up. Save the moral policing for others.

Not sure why NE is getting as much flack as they have on this. They brought in AB as a calculated risk to get a top WR, paid him $150K, and moved on. They seem to think they will not have to give him any other money. Non-NE people are suggesting it hurt their brand . . . but how much of a brand is there outside of NE? In New England it will have zero impact on the brand. As it is, even New Englanders make inappropriate jokes about Kraft. People revisiting his indiscretions as being a big deal are just trolling.
