Brett Favre ranking this week (1 Viewer)

Dodds and company has Brett Favre ranked at QB22 this week I thought he looked pretty good at times vs a tough NYJ defense. Favre was, "Favre", missing wide open WRs, but also managed 3 Td passes and looked deep to Moss often. With a full week of practice, I would assume he and Moss develop better timing/chemistry. I'm curious if the staff thinks his elbow is a serious concern, because the Cowboys pass def isn't scaring anyone.

Cowboys pass def rank: 20th. pass yards per game allowed: 215.5 ypg. pass td allowed per game: 1.5 td.

The Cowboys don't match up nearly as well with Moss as Cromartie and the JETS did. I would expect 250 yds and 2 tds with 1 int. That should be better than a 22nd QB rating.

I got a little concerned too, when I saw Romo's ranking (19th, which I thought pretty low considering he had just thrown for 400 yards). Then I saw Alex Smith ranked ten spots higher, and thought "WTF"?

But if you look at the projection numbers, the number 9 QB is slated to score exactly one more point than the number 20 QB. So basically they are interchangeable. Just goes to show you that pure 'rankings' are not the end-all and be-all.

I do not know how they rank between players if the projections are the same. I would personally consider Romo to be a slightly better bet than Alex Smith, but hey, that's just me.
